The wide spread promiscuity and on the hot spots enhanced by tourists and les putes - 0. 3% obvious is a wishful thought.
The way they made this study and were they took the samples is the other question.

Posts: 1523% hiv rate in Madagascar?
I was a bit shocked when I saw this report on Medrxiv website. According to them the real hiv prevalence rate is not 0.3% but it is 3% percent and this is a new report from 2023.
This is from the report: To our knowledge, this study marks the largest primary test data-based HIV study to date among Madagascar's general population, showing a greatly higher HIV prevalence (3.0%) than previously reported modeling based figures (0.3%.

Madagascar is a beautiful country with beautiful scenery (except Tana), all it takes is a genuine smile and you will not be able to keep up with all the available options at your beckon and call. And if you speak French your world of opportunity stretches across the whole country. Modern infrastructure is absent and transportation is rudimentary, but that is the fascination and mystery of this captivating red land. I know now why the French here covet their lifestyle, as it's easy to be spoiled by modern human demands.

If so, how could you explore the Manson at Tana and Tatie Chris the same night?
Ubiquity super power?

I'm staying at a great place where I can cook and has a beautiful garden with lots of mosquitoes at dusk. I went out Monday evening to check the crowd in front of taxi be and afro bar. I hung out for a bit at Afro bar but I was too tired so I decided to leave for the hotel, then of course a beautiful tall dark femme came up to while I was walking and wanted to share herself with me. I told her I can't because so tired, promised to meet the next night because she was so fine. Went home and slept with the mosquitoes instead.

That's why it's dead. The owner is looking for places in Nosy Be.

Out at 1:00 am. What happened to Manson? Dead again and no one is having fun, so it seemed to me, the vibe is suffering the last breath syndrome. Taxi be is the exact opposite, people smiling, dancing and you could see most were genuinely enjoying themselves. Lots of opportunities to be had with just a smile. Did the obligatory walk through a couple of times. Three femmes invited me over to were they dancing and laughing amongst themselves in front of the stage. The fille that I was attracted to grabbed my hand and began to move her ass on my pelvis (the gyrating ass to pelvis move). We exchanged names and pleasantries and danced for a bit, then she was asking for a drink (bad sign) so I asked her to wait and I'll be back. On the third round I saw another attractive opportunity who displayed a great smile and welcoming eyes. I spent about 15 minutes interviewing her to make sure she knew "pipe". I was heading to Amba Sunday afternoon so I didn't want to pass too much time, I invited her to join me at chez moi. Again great attitude and we both enjoyed each other. Got to love mada!

The best way to avoid this is to iron everything, hot iron kill all eggs. But everything means really all clothes that can be in contact with skin.
I saw a friend with eggs going in his skin, very bad, temperature, pain, big buttons all over his back. Yes be very careful with laundry.

On my first trip I too spent an afternoon trying to find laundry service. Expecting laundry saloons which charges by the kilo.
I found three options. Hotel laundry which is expensive, net a sec which is even more expensive and a worker who handwashes it.
100 ariary for underwear and t shirts 200 for pants or jackets and 300 for two place bedsheet. You will pay for the soap bar as well 1000-1400 in epicerie. The clothes will degrade faster when they handwash it cause they are getting stretched out a lot. Good luck.
