Saw a FB page for Margarita Station with pictures of the new place. It looks modern and will be air conditioned. Time will tell about the food.

The main attraction was watching the street just like in kokomos, in the new location there will be nothing to watch.

AC is a low budget hub. People do not go there for fine dining. Any proprietor catering to that would lose big time. There may be a SLIGHT market for Hi society kim chee but forget about it. With the hookers, Jolibee is high class. And Red Bull is the wine of choice.

The only dining most here seem to be into is DATY. How many places have a real wine list? I will be touring Europe's deep south next month and I hope to have some nice whites. When in Rome, do as the Romans do. When in AC, dr8 ink Red Bull to wash down your balut.

The vast majority of mongers who visit AC are scum bags with limited financial resources. They are not going to pay $50 for an eye fillet steak and then $120 for a bottle of nice red.

The only person I know who peruses the wine list in AC is GE.

Well the colored wristbands are gone but now the prices for barfines is all messed up. Talk to one girl on stage it's 4000, talk to another she's 5000. They look identical. Guess it has to do with how many barfines she gets but barfines can't be the same every month, every six months. Just seems like a huge ripoff to me. Girls I did for 4000 are now 5000? And it's not like she's getting the extra 1000, she's getting a few hundred pesos more. Just a bar grab. Time to start offering 2500 short time and cut the bar out all together. They can't get their act together and fix their broken system it's time to make my own deals.

Friday night out and about at the wolfpack bars. Was really impressed with the talent. But guys were just sitting looking, they weren't buying drinks or taking the girls. I really did enjoy the DJ at Lucifer. Guy would sing to the music to give it a live music vibe.

My reliable source says the customers and bargirls are getting upset with the new pricing. Customers are not barfining as much and girls are upset of the lack of barfines.

The girls have been told by management that their daily salary will be decreasing by a significant amount.

I totally agree. I used to love to go there and the food was good. Last few times it was absolutley horrible. Last breakfast I ordered orange juice with the food. The orange juice was sour so I told the waitress it was no good. Then watched her go to the exact container and pour another glass of sour orange juice. When the bill came I told them I would not pay for the sour OJ. "You need to speak to manager sir. " "Where is he?" "Not available sir. ".

Unless major improvements are made the new location will be a bust. Especially with Puzzles or whatever they call it now and Night Moves right there as they both have excellent food.

Night Moves has good breakfast. Some of the girls are pretty good at pool too. Tanduay is reasonably priced as well as other drinks.

Got to agree with this too. I walked past it a thousand times and those chicken wire windows always weirded me out. I finally decided to have lunch there and the food was pretty bad. The only bonus was watching this sexy hot thin dark skinned curly haired pool shark take guys' money while I ate the mediocre food (Watch Chubs DubC on Youtube and you'll see her). I hear it's moving up west on perimeter and I think that's a good thing because I think those girl bars getting more business would be a good thing.

I'm shocked that member breadman did not know better than to exchange numbers with a girl in a bar while she is working, get seen by security, the owners, managers then don't be surprised if they get very upset, mostly leading to a beating, why, because you are taking bread out of their mouths during a period where most western bars are struggling to keep the electric on and the staff paid.

Best way to cut costs is to pay the barfine for the girl the 1st time, if one gets along with her then ask to swap contact details and meet het on her day off or before or after her work shift.

The girls free time is her free time to do as she pleases with, most bar owners know this and accept others are fucking their staff for free, like her pinoy husband, boyfriend, trike driver lover, what they won't stand for is punters trying to cut the bars share out during a girls working hours.

According to NS you better be really careful getting girl's contact numbers or the Pinoy goons employed by the bars will beat you to an inch of your life.

Old timers may remember that in its early years it was called Margaritaville. Then the legal team of Jimmy Buffet (also RIP) moved in and forced them to change it. And we'd thought he was such a nice easy going Florida beach bum.

Sadly at this point it's no great loss. The place stank and the food was mostly crap. I remember sitting there watching the street through those chicken-wire windows many years ago thinking, yeah, this is the life. But that was a long time ago and even Angeles has moved on.
