Posts: 173Novotel SZR and Movenpick Downtown
Stayed at these 2 hotels in the past couple of months over 15 day periods.
Novotel SZR definitely green. I saw a lot of WGs.
Movenpick Downtown. Mixed signals. A few over a couple of weekends.

Posts: 69Sheraton Grand and Sheraton Dubai Creek
Been reading through the posts, and trying to figure out if the Sheraton Grand on SZR and the Sheraton Dubai Creek are Green and guest friendly. Trying to lock in a hotel for my visit from the 13 to 16th of October. Also any suggestions for food etc. Close to the two hotels?
Thank you for the help.

Posts: 499Park Hyatt (Creek), no beach but they have a golf course and driving range. I think its a very underrated hotel.
Anantara the Palm can sometimes have some deals or Fairmont Palm is also ok.

I will be passing through Dubai next weekend. I want to take my Syrian regular to a good resort hotel. Maybe Five Palm Jumeriah, which I have never been to.
1) Would it be worth it given that it will still be hot and humid?
2) Anyone recommend other nice hotels besides Five Palms that are a little cheaper?
Thanks mates.

Can anyone recommend a good, not so expensive hotel near high quality massage places which is also green. I'm going to Dubai for the first time in October.

Posts: 200Txh for your great advise however in my experience they don't necessarily tell you the truth when you write to them or call!
They say no visitors to protect themselves or only one registered visitor IMHO!.
That is was e why I need proven hobbyist experienced on this hotel but as good advise.
Thanks Mate.

Posts: 23I have seen mixed reports on here.
I'm staying at Hyatt Place Dubai Al Rigga and need to know if its green or red.
If red I'll start the process of canceling the stay.
There's a search option on the site if you just type-in Hyatt Al Rigga, you'll get many answers to your question here you are.

Hyatt Place: red.
I went on a short staycation in Deira and booked this hotel with the intention of bringing in some take home food. Long story short this hotel seems to specialize in families, and the quite religious ones. They ask you to name your guest when you check in making it difficult for you. I explored the area and the Barrio club which is interesting for Uzbeks (thanks Blood Red for the intel) but when the money time comes, a security guard is planted next to the elevator to make sure nobody sneaks in. Ended up changing my plans, but this hotel should be avoided.
