I visited last January and saw faint signs of life at the entrance from a couple of portly, middle-aged ladies who claimed to be Turkish and a Indian-looking "mamasan" sitting in the lobby whom I did not approach. None of the ruckus at the lobby, disco and coffee shop from before.

I think FF was orig for locals but us foreigners found out and price stays same. Most do have 52 cm (your girth) rule I believe, not sure how strictly its enforced.

The area around Grace in Soi 3-5 is an Arab popular place, lot of eat outs and shops are Arab too. You will see lot of hotel guests as them. It's a combination of the road coming from Soi Nana past Citrus Suites and then it jinks toward Sukhumvit squeezes down a couple steps and then it opens back up again until it reaches Soi 8. I always used that when I stayed at not on8 but 8ville or something like that in the room with no windows. LOL. Looks like you have to go down soi 8 away from On8 and sukhumvit to the next soi which then takes you over to those steps and Lolita & Kasalong then on towards Soi 4

Don't over complicate things. Go to Lolitas. Walk 10 meters past it. Go up little stairs to left (3? See Kasalong. Keep walking straight down to Nana. Or reverse.

There is also a nice little back alley off Soi 8 that takes you to Soi Nana (4) without having to even go out to Sukhumvit. It conveniently passes right by Lolita's and Kasalong BJ bars, and makes the trip to Nana shorter.
