Complex 2 part question complex 2 part answer.

I go to Cartegena when I can have the most peace. So that means I avoid every American holiday that allows certain people to have 3-day or 4-day weekends. So that knocks out Presidents Day, Labor Day, 4th of July, Thanksgiving, etc. I also avoid when there are major theme holidays or sports events like Halloween, Superbowl, Fathers Day, Christmas, New Years, etc. Once I rule that out then comes the price of the straight flight, usually its $200 to go and about $500 to come back. Sure, I can get a straight flight for $150 to go, and $200 to come back but it comes into who pays for those tickets and do I want to be around them on my vacation. Then you have to factor in the season, After August its rainy season so that sucks, Middle of summer is too damn hot so that sucks too.

As for the prices of the girls.

The price I pay is not really relevant because my price is pre pandemic or grandfathered in as I've known these girls a little over 5 years.

The easiest way for me to explain it is if the monger is a new face girls will overcharge. They used to throw out 600 K or 800 K but now they are throwing out $100, $200, or $300.

Girls get cheaper as time get later in the night, but who wants to take a girl at 2 am for 200 K knowing that she been out there since 9 pm and could of had 1 gringo per hour since she got to Centro.

If the girl like the gringo she will charge less.

I may pay one price but someone out there is paying less than me and someone is paying more, I just don't care anymore.

I wouldn't worry too much about the price due to everyone pays in some form or another, directly or indirectly, just know when they are trying to rip you off and adjust accordingly to what works with your budget.

I was just there and have never been there before. I paid on average 250 K. Girls I met at clock tower were 300 K, girls I met anywhere else were 150-225 K. In the end, none of that mattered, because where I live it's $400 (US) for an ugly person and $500 for someone that is semi-decent looking. Shit, $80 is a steal, none of the girls were decent fucks. If they were halfway decent in bed, I would have definitely paid more.

I know the restaurant you posted. It's maybe two streets over from my apartment in Manga. It is a complete ripoff. 120 k for cazuela mariscos? Insane. You're paying for views of Bahia Manga. Nothing more.

I haven't had that. I had the steak, lobster, and risotto. I am usually paying for three or four when I go out so I do not keep too close of a tab on prices. The steak there was the best I have had in the city.

For actual upscale eating.

Niku for Japanese.

Peru Fusion for Japanese / Peruvian fusion food.

Quebracho is an Argentinian steakhouse.

La Girolata (authentic Italian). The head chef there is Italian himself. He talks to patrons.

Those are always really good, but expensive by Colombian standards.

For casual dining.

Origines (my favorite in the city).

Piccolo (pizza).

Pollo Tropical (chicken).

Crepes and Waffles- Colombians are nuts for this chain. Any girl you meet will be ecstatic to go here.

For fast food.

Colombitalia Arepas in Getsemani.

I take it you're talking from experience but I would think the washing up is an individual / personal thing and not related generally to girls servicing guys in El Laguito. I'll cosign Quebracho Parrilla, I actually like it better than Andres.

What I like about this place is the steaks are juicy and its location is away from all the nonsense, nobody's over here bothering you at all and its a nice walk by to see all the tiles of Mrs. Universe.

Whenever I take my chica there, on average I spend $100 and that's for 2 steaks, and 4 drinks. Nice live band just don't let them seat you next to the grill.

I go there at least once every trip. On this last trip I got lost looking for it because they boarded up Plaza de Bolivar and I kept looking for the park LOL.

Another decent restaurant can recommend to everyone is Restaurante Mar De Las Antillas in Getsemeni, not the one in Centro.

There are street walkers around the Bocagrande Mall, and most of the better hotels are technically in Bocagrande. Sure, centro / the Walled city is known to be best for mongering. It is just when you are in centro or the Walled City in general, if you are claustrophobic, it can be daunting. I am not like that, but I prefer my space.

You're right. I was there for a birthday party in Laguito and walked back to Boca to find a taxi. I got accosted once. I wasn't talking about mongering though. I was talking purely about accommodations. Even in Centro, you'the be hard pressed to find one with a reasonable doorman.

Again, you are right if you are looking for the button down, table cloth type meal, most are downtown. Still, the best fancy restaurant I have been to though is in Manga, https://www.restaurantefuertedelpastelillo.com/.

Stunning views and sunset and the food IMO is the best in the city.

For Italian, De Silvio gets the press, but I actually liked Semolina in the Bocagrande Mall more.

Outside of fuertedelpastelillo IMO there is one more must go place, and that is the food court at Serrezuela mall. Andres is in that mall which is great in and of itself, but the real gem is the food court. My favorite is the Carne de Res at El Bistro but I also think they have the best sushi, ceviche, and mojitos in town there as well. Go with a group of people and you will find something for everyone. Everything I have had in that food court is fabulous, and it is spacious and informal unlike downtown.

I have been a regular to Cartagena for a couple years and have always stayed in a Airbnb in Laguito, but I would like to get a bit more luxury for my money next time. I'm also a bit concerned about the new police checkpoint set up by the Hotel Caribe on the way into Laguito. I have read in other posts about Oz Luxury Hotel and others like it, but I just can't imagine a nice hotel letting me sign in as many girls as I want (1-3 per day).

The checkpoint in El Laguito is nothing to worry about unless the monger is the type that like to stay in Centro until the clubs close. If the monger takes his ass back to El Laguito before 1 am then he does not have to worry about the checkpoint.

These ladies are too hit or miss to waste your money, and just trying out new providers gets boring in Cartagena, QUICK. It's a way better experience to find one who actually performs and just get GFE with her for a week. Risk adjusted, it's actually cheaper. The problem is finding GFE is very very difficult if you aren't in Cartagena a lot. A good chunk of these ladies are hardened pros who will give you mechanical service and run. No kisses.
