I need some real experience there, I am planning an important trip with some specific needs so any detailed advice will be deeply appreciated.

Thanks for the info on weed as I'm in a weed legal state in the US. I did read about the legalization in Germany but it's going to take most of 2024 for the German government to get it up and running. I'll just wait like you said.

First there are a couple great sources. New York Times does a 36 hour series worth checking out. They have most of the major cities.

Time Out magazine is also a good source. I suspect they have an online guide to Berlin.

Whatever you do buy a 5-7 day public transportation ticket. That way you can just walk onto all the street cars. Buses. I bahns etc. Also download the app Citymapper. I find it's the best for navigating most cities.

Berlin is like NYC. January is just another month. Every thing is open. More tourist things than you can do in your life.

200-250 is not high end in Berlin. It's going rate for an escort to come to your room.

Finally go to Frankfurt for a couple nights. Berlin will wear you out.

I have to agree. Go to Frankfurt, and do it early enough that you have the option of extending. There are the well known places like Oase and Sharks. But also there's FKK40 aka Club Dietzenbach. There you can get the kind of lower cost AO (bareback) services German men often seek.
