Massage Shops- are located all over the area, many seem to have the same format, prices of menu items are posted, ladies vary from young to old. Some Extras seem to be available at many, discussed between the lady and customer. Having an "oily" massage can be a very enjoyable experience, akin to or in place of a Short Time visit.some with more intensity, at about the same overall cost (300 BT massage+ 1000 FS). I think next visit I will look at in-shop oily massages more seriously if I find ladies who are attractive sitting out front.. I am sure they will think I am a "handsome man".

Soapy Massage I went one time; everybody should go once but maybe not here. There are several located in Central Pattaya which have the Fishbowl Style selection process, with a formatted routine in a room with a tub for a scrub, a tug, then FS, I think I was lucky from what I hear, I gave the floor manager 100 BT and he made a recommendation. Recollection that it was about 2500 BT. Marketed to Indians arriving in buses and vans.. Many smiles.

do the girls still make the same 50 baht they made at 120 baht LD as they do on 230 baht LD? .

Most of the margin is going to the bars. I read somewhere they get now about 70-80 THB per drink.

So they got 42% first. Now down to 35%. However that does make sense a bit because the salaries went up for most models / coyotes in most bars.

To give you an idea.

Models 20 K for 10 days / 60 drinks = 60 x220 = 13.200.

Coyote 15 K for 10 days / 55 drinks = 55 x220 = 12.100.

Trow in 2 "mandatory" barfines a 2. 000. And you see the risk for hiring staff is very low.

Penalty for not making the drink quota? They need to pay it themselves (deducted from salary at full price).

So the 70-80 per drink is after they make their quota. Not on the first 60/55 drinks in this example.

230 baht lady drinks prices for ALL girls, (models, coyotes, hostesses) is pretty ridiculous at Palace. I remember when drinks were 150 for coyotes. Inflation did not go up 50%.

I remember when there weren't models/hostesses and LD on WS were 100/120 baht, 60/80 baht on Soi 6 and G clubs. Does this mean the girls are making more per drink now or do the girls still make the same 50 baht they made at 120 baht LD as they do on 230 baht LD?

Higher prices means fewer drinks for the girls from me. I'm down to Panda, Cat Ears, and Cutest Girl Ever at Palace for drinks.

I will be back in Jomtien in 2024 for my 74th Birthday.

Overall, great trip. Highly recommend.

Anytime is the right time to come to Pattaya.

I usually bail from Pattaya in December. January, too many customers.

Plus, Bolt is overloaded, too many Bolt customers.

The ladies get top dollar from 2 week millionaires, plus that's when the sponsors usually visit Thailand, so their "girlfriends" are busy.

Bad time to go to Pattaya. Although its better than December in Birmingham.

Pattaya is like Disneyland for mongers, so many come here and are overwhelmed by the 1000's of ladies screaming "welcome hansum man". But some take it too seriously, and the results can be fatal.

I am trying to inject a little reality into the conversation, in the hopes that some guys will think twice before blowing their life savings on a bargirl.

Its okay to hand your money to a bargirl in exchange for services rendered. You are free to overpay. The problem comes when you are in love with a bargirl and you send her money when you go home. Giving a bargirl money for nothing is bad for you and other mongers, as well.

Living in Pattaya for many years, I have seen the results when a sponsor comes to the realization that "their" bargirl doesn't love them, and they have blown all their money for nothing. In extreme cases, this results in a dive off a condo balcony.

No, I have never been personally burned by a bargirl, although some have tried. But I have seen it happen to lots of other guys.

My opinion for you on one topic, his travels, is that he is not lying about it at all.

He has the financial means and wherewithal to travel extensively often and freely almost on a whim, and does so often.

My response is based on the responses to his post from others who are questioning, speaking for myself his obsession generalizing is just that particularly the constant Thai boyfriend and they being supported. As I noted back once told him he is very naive but if it works for him more power to him. I know and met hundreds of expat living here and visiting one thing is common just because you meet and tell you doesn't make it so. I've not said he is a liar but there seem to be a few on this board that has doubts.

A drama that has stuck to his thinking and sealed his generalization that if he was given a lie detector test would pass with flying colors because he deeply believes it then at his age it will stick for life proof the past few years he writes the same comments. Being a concern person wants to make sure others don't far into the same trap thus the constant repeat.

All girls have Thai boyfriends and are being sent money while they work, All factory girls never have been in the business, Thai bars are only venture by Thai guys, and a Thai guy sitting at a bar is the Thai lady's boyfriend. We have heard all his same stories over the past few years personally to each his own but my takeaway from them is the amount of drinking in my definition his liver must have been shot got to be an alcoholic in denial, then the amount of traveling at times he is two places at one time.

Yea, I copied everything there from the thread on PA.

Only reason the thread is in a hidden section is because they also have a several-hundred page long thread of TF reviews. Most of the entries on the site are from the PA review section. Absolutely worth your time to get a membership there. It's free. Just post about and don't be rude.

You are referring to the ladies who come to my condo to drink. Very few get to the point of throwing up, most are in bed by that time.

But yes, once they have had a few drinks, they spill the beans. There are some who complain about their customers, but some others complain about their Thai boyfriends. If they have a real Farang boyfriend, I won't fuck them, but if it's a sponsor, no problem.

For me, 2000 baht for Long Time is a great deal. The ladies seem happy, at least during Low Season, as they all want to come back.
