I am currently booked at that Areca Lodge, but thinking of moving someplace a little bit less busy. Areca is fine, but it feels like a Frat House to me. Wanted to see if anyone has stayed at the Unique Regency recently. TIA.

I've stayed at LK The Empress a few times and it was good. The last 4 trips at the Areca Lodge, which is very well situated and close to a lot of action. I am thinking of looking at a place in Pratumnak, more to get away from the madness just a bit and I would like to check out some of the action in Jotimen as well. If anyone has a couple of good recommendations for Pratumnak, I would appreciate the recommendations. Rumor has it that there are a few more upscale hotels in the area with nice pricing. Thanks in advance!

The issue with Pratumnak is that there is little mass transit, so taxis are required to go to Jomtien or Pattaya. Or you could walk to and from the Thrappaya Road baht bus.

How would I verify their policy of bringing girls up to room before making the reservation?

By emailing or calling the hotel is best. Otherwise there are plenty of sites your can Google search "girl friendly hotels".

A-One New Wing Hotel is of the crap ones where they want 1000 baht per guest per visit even if you book room for 2. They say this is for the security service they provide, I. E. , calling you before handing over ID back to the chick. LOL.

They clearly don't want sex tourists in their rooms LOL.

I never heard about any hotels in Pattaya that have problem if you have multiple girls during the day. Of course always booking for 2.

Hotels could asking for extra money if you want to bring two girls at the same time for a threesome.

Other than that, I need good Wifi and hopefully not super noisy.

You ALWAYS have to book a room for 2 if you plan to bring girls over. Looking for a hotel in the RLD and quiet do not go hand in hand. There are bars everywhere that play loud music to 3 am or later. If you want quiet look for a hotel at least a couple of blocks away.

I scanned a lot of hotels in both pattaya and jomtien but couldn't find something suitable. One or the other issue is there in the reviews.

Purpose: Not mongering, planning to stay with my girl for 3 D, 2 N and just see the beach and the town.

Beachfront (else near beach), in-room safe, at least 25 m2 room, swimming pool not a must but good to have, cleanliness.

Please reply if somebody has stayed in such budget hotels, thank you.

Mood Hotel. Not beach front but awfully close.

Question do they provide room cleaning while your their or take of the sheets yourself?

Stayed 3 nights at Edge Central Condo.

Cost: About $200 for all three nights.

Booked on Agoda. My friend booked a slightly smaller room for about $160 for three nights on AirBnB.

Check-in process was unclear but easy when I got there. Got there and a lady met me by the taxi (used Nam's Taxi, highly recommend). She tried to upsell me on a slightly larger room for 3,000 baht more, but I wasn't interested. Walked me to the mailbox behind the reception area and got the key out of an unlocked mailbox. Had me add her on WhatsApp, she sent me some information, and then I was off to take a shower and (10 minutes later) meet my first TF girl.

Bringing Girls: No issues. Nobody is around at night to ask for ID's or anything at night. Most I brought back was 2, but could've brought a stable if I wanted to. Rooms are too small for 4+ people. One TF girl that came during the day said she had to leave her ID at the security gate by the road, but none of the other girls ever pulled out ID's for anything. We just walked in.

Pool: I said I wouldn't get in the pool but I ended up checking it out. It's pretty cool to look out over the city in that pool. Kinda scary too. Not worth hanging out there though cause there's no food or drinks allowed.

Would definitely stay there again. The location is excellent. Close to the LK metro bars and walking distance to Walking Street & Soi 6.

How is this hotel for mongering. I intend to bring 2 girls per day at different times. One in afternoon and one at night. Last time I stayed in sunshine vista and was able to do this without any issues.
