Your cause is noble but it will never work because you'll never reach enough guys here that are willing to do their part in keeping prices down. With every trip I take Colombians are getting better and better at gaming foreigners, whether it's businesses trying to steal change, hotels padding bills at checkout when they know you are in a hurry to get to the airport, or attempts to way overcharge foreigners for service or extras at strip clubs or Mileroticos appointments, etc.

There's also a new game they have going where when you call their bullshit suddenly they don't understand Spanish anyone, you get the pitiful dumb looks and the "como asi. " Or some casa girls will start stalling and asking stupid questions when you get a good erection and are ready to go in. The aim is to deflate then they can claim "no duro" with the aim of getting paid without having to fuck you. Yea that's unusual but common enough to where it must be deliberate.

But on a recent trip two guys in their 30's from the UK chatted me up in Fase Dos though I didn't really care to speak with them. They said they were giving Facebook girls 500 mil. I politely told them that were paying more than is necessary, and they were clearly offended and that ended our chit chat. I'm personally switching back to Costa Rica for two one week trips a year which is all that I need at my age. It is decidedly safer, more user friendly, and with better food.
