I agree it's not unusual that girls ask for their own taxis. I don't agree to it because I prefer to be able to track their progress rather than wonder when or whether they are going to arrive. I also don't like someone who may or may not be known to the girl arriving with her. If they want to get their own taxi on the way out I'm ok with that.

If you wrote to them first then it's likely they just haven't added you as a contact. There's a setting to only show your picture to contacts.

I'm there now and my invoice has no tax column or tax charge on it. They copied my passport when I entered.

I am getting so many responses on Tinder I can't even deal with them any more. But the few I actually tried to move forwards gave me red flags of scam right away.

Not surprising that the Gringo Inn aka whatever it's called would try to scam their clients.

Most of the guys that stay there have not spent a lot of time in Colombia, and seeing a tax on a Hotel room would be nothing new to anyone.

To avoid having to pay the tax to DIAN which is the equivalent of the IRS here more or less, the establishment must have a copy of their Passport showing the date of entry and that they were issued a tourist visa.

So factually speaking, they earn an additional 19% as net income on their nightly rates when they pull that stunt as my bet is that they don't get called on it much.

Makes you wonder how long they have been getting away with this.

This film is so misleading. Did you guys know there were brothels in Parpue Lleras? When did this developement occur (yes I'm being sarcastic) Not to mention this lady is greatly exaggerating the number of prostitutes in Parque lleras. And showing regular Colombian women who are just out with their friends as though they are all prostitutes. Unless things have changed drastically recently less than 5% of them are.

I would agree. She says most of the girls in Park Lleras look underaged to her. She is a 34 year old woman from Australia without any expertise in judging the age of Latina women. I have walked around that area and most of the girls do not look underaged to me. But it is one thing to just say that, it is another thing to prove it with some proof of the women who are walking around Park Llerras. She says the same thing about the girls hanging out in the main strip in Cartagena, that they look like they are mostly underaged but there is little evidence that this is actually the case. If you are going to say that it is mostly underaged girls hanging out in those two places, you should back it up with some proof.

Don't wear jewelry, don't expose cell phone, carry only enough money that you need at that particular time, don't walk the streets intoxicated, stay out of deserted areas, monitor your drinks closely and you should be fine.

How does Gusto's compare to Hong Kong?

Way different and both have some positives in their own way.

Gustos is fuckin amazing! So many hotties in regular clothes which to me is always more appealing than the HK girls walking around pretty scantly clad. To me it adds more to the imagination and gives that more "normal vibe" which I like. Also, the atmosphere is less of a pressure and more fun since the girls aren't completely hassling you for tips / drinks etc. It adds the element of the thrill of the hunt which is cool. You get to relax more and really scout things out.

HK is a full on brothel and the pressure these days the girls and waiters push can be annoying at times and the cost really adds up.

I never got any problems with girls on facebook. I like only young and sexy ladies between 18 till 25.
