Indriver has a bad reputation here for passenger robberies and for less stringent driver vetting. Recently, didi launched an indriver like feature. Riders can offer a fare and drivers can accept the fare or bid with counteroffers. I pretty much stick to didi and uber lately.

I once had some stupid venezuelan birch who was a loosely known friend of a friend of a friend who I ordered an indriver for her from Bello to a panaderia near where I live.

Apparently she must have known the indriver dude because he started messaging me thru the app asking if I he could buy themselves beers and if I would pay for it.

I immediately got bad vibes from this and had second thoughts about seeing the birch. So I told the dude I wasn't paying for any beers and basically told him to fuck off. I canceled the trip and reported the incident to the indriver app. Then like a half hour later the dude was calling and messaging me on WhatsApp from different numbers cussing me out but I just blocked him. And since the destination was set to the panaderia there was no way he could know where exactly I live.

I guess she was on the hook for the 17 Lukas or maybe she had to fuxk that dude instead to pay for her ride I don't know and I don't care LOL. But other than that I have never had a problem with indriver it was an isolated incident..

I've been using Picap in Medellin and Cali and it's absolutely the best and Inot only does it save you money and get you to your destinations faster but it gives you an adrenaline rush too..

Planning a trip for Medellin for the end of February but was wondering, not many older providers drug clients versus younger providers, right? I mean, keep your guard up at all times but I've mainly read horror stories of younger providers drugging clients versus an older provider possibly, 35+ not doing something similar.

These days however, atleast when I'm buy myself, I like to use Picap as opposed to indriver as it's alot cheaper. I either use public transport like bus and or metro and if I use an app it's Picap. I've been using Picap in Medellin and Cali and it's absolutely the best and Iñnot only does it save you money and get you to your destinations faster but it gives you an adrenaline rush too.

Having arrived here the end of 2021 for a little over a month, things have definitely changed since then. Currently here now and leaving within the next few weeks.

I promise not to PM, LOL. Your indriver practice works. I personally find it inconvenient and less discrete to have to go out and pay a driver compared to tracking progress from the comfort of my apartment and calling my doorman to let the girl in when I see she arrived.
