However, I am still missing something. I love Tijuana. But it's somewhat like Vegas. More than 3 days is too much. Both for the wallet and for my stamina LOL.

I am planning on hitting up another spot before Tijuana. I have narrowed it down to either Monterrey or Puebla. Figure it would be nice to see some more traditional places and explore something new. Both have cheap flights flying in (Puebla I would go to CDMX and take a bus) and both have cheap flights to Tijuana. So figure I would try one before hitting Tijuana.

Any recommendations on which might be best? I have read mixed reviews on Monterrey and Puebla there isn't too much info. Being only 2 days. I am not looking for a ton of action, moreso just to check things out and have 1 or 2 meet ups / clubs. Legitimately would like to check out the local scene as well. Besides have to conserve funds for the money pit in Tijuana.

Doing birthday celebration with friend and had an afternoon and evening to burn so made Zona Norte trip, my 1st since pre covid. For a Wednesday, Hong Kong was crowded with mongers and ladies. I've used loads of the motels over the years. Last questions first. Normally the price shown is for 4 hours. There are exceptions. During the week (M-Th) sometimes the price can be for all night if you choose. Others, like Otay, show a 4 hour price and an all night price. On weekends virtually all the hotels only rent for 4 hours at a time. If you want to stay longer you must pay every 4 hours.

You don't "book" a room, you show up and rent one. Weekend evenings there may be a line. You pay your money, park and wait.

SOP for most locals is to rent a room, and then call an escort. You give the escort your room number. She shows up and tells reception, who calls your room. Sometimes you can meet the girl someplace nearby, and enter the motel together, either by foot, by your / her car, or by taxi.

When you get the room you will be asked to leave an ID at reception unless you are driving your own car. People freak out about this, but it's SOP and for everybody's safety. When you check out the room will be inspected, they will charge you for damaged stuff or stained towels (don't ask), and you'll get your ID back. All perfectly normal.

Motel Otay was fairly recently remodeled and is decent. The structure is quite old, the rooms tend to have rather low ceilings. IIRC most if not all of the rooms are on the ground floor, so there are no stairs to the rooms, if stairs are an issue. It's in Otay, which is a bit of a drive from Centro, or Zona Rio, where most gringos hang.

If you want the Otay area, Motel Ensueno is a better choice. Villa Dorada and Motel Via, both located on the west-bound Via Rapida, are also good choices. The rooms are nicer than Motel Otay. All prices are within 10 to 20 pesos of each other.

There's always a lot of controversy surrounding Premier. I won't go because the shitty condition of the facilities. There are reports of some of the girls getting robbed when leaving. Rumor has it that an employee / s are in league with corrupt cops who wait outside the exit. Some stories may be BS, but too many come from reliable sources for it to be complete fiction. All I know is the last jacuzzi I rented was so bad I swore I'd never return.

The closest decent ones to Centro are La Mansion and El Parador. I think Parador is a bit cheaper.

Motel Tijuana is one of the nicer "lower budget" motels. But it's in a very busy area of town (5 why 10) and, if you're driving, there is a learning curve on how to enter.

Los Pinos is in the middle of nowhere. I wouldn't recommend unless your girl lives in that area.

There are several out towards Playas, too. Plus dozens all over town. There is no shortage of motels in Tijuana.

Your escort will probably have her favorite motel. So, you can always just let her choose.

La Mansion (https://motelamansion.com/) is more well-regarded then the motels you mentioned and is the one that was recommended by the chica I've frequented the most over the years. I always stay in Zona Norte so don't really even need any of those motels, but she drove me out there once a couple years or so ago. Was a fine motel, no issues. Each room I think even had its own enclosed garage for privacy reasons. I think the way it works is on weekdays you can rent for the whole night but on weekends you can only rent for a certain number of hours (maybe 4) with no in-out privileges. I'm not an expert on this place and it's been a couple years so you'd probably want to verify that. But the rooms were nice, more spacious and cheaper than what I'm used to at Cascadas.

But I'd defintiely look at La Mansion over those other three you mentioned. I know his name is dirt here but Luke Powell has also recommended La Mansion within several of his videos.

In short I would say. Skip this place. Definitely don't arrive Solo Cholo. It might be a fun spot but only if you are with a group or minimum wingman. Messero would not take "no" for an answer and was sending over budget bar ladies one at a time. I settled on one of the hotter girls very sharky in the club- bought her a drink and she gave me a nice 5 minute lap dance, pounded her drink and was like "next". Messero was nearby ready to take her empty cup. The place might have potential but know what you're getting. Budget ladies / sharky environment probably for the local crowd. Avoid the taxis and take the HK courtesy rides. Only other form of transportation I take are the busses for $1, but you have to have a little bit of experience to know how that works. It can be confusing. They will drop you off at the Revolucion area and you take a short walk to the zona. Day or night, never had any problems just keep your head on a swivel.

There's a few diamonds in the rough at Tropical. Doesn't hurt to sit down and have a beer for a while if you want to relax and see if anything interesting pops up.

Chicago I would never go to before 8 pm, but that's just me. Ever since Adelitas shut down it's the de facto #2 spot in the zona.

For all the shit HK gets with their price gouging it's still #1 in terms of girls. There's a lot of fun chicks working there everyday. Although it can take some people a while to develop the skills to sort them out from one another.
