I would side with Old Man on this one. She's got no English means she's new, so the 2000 quote has most probably been inspired by all the other friends working the same bar, trying to establish a price for all of them.

Just a minor piece of information to do what you will with:

For every ST the girls get charged by the bar for various things, and the prices are quite varied. The group that owns La La Land, Cooters and one other I can't remember charges them just 20 baht for "room cleaning. ".

On the higher end, Illuzion, a one-off owned by a German national, charges the girls 100 baht for room cleaning and another 100 baht for "bar opening" (the meaning of which I still haven't been able to decipher).

I'm not sure about the Nightwish bars, but I have to imagine it is a common practice there as well.
