My last 2 trips to Bogota I frequented Lidos Fiebre Olimipio and Loutron.

No it's coming from American people. They fucked up the market in Cartagena and Medellin and now it coming to Bogota. Everywhere American tourists go, you can be sure that the place is ruined within a few years. That has been the case also in Thailand. Big money and time limit are definitely not a Mexican habit.

Americans go to cheap places and make it more expensive. In a place like Lidos the price was always high. For the past 7 years it's always been 2-300 usd. If you go on a weekend night you'll see well dressed Latinos. Not all gringos.

I'm not too concerned about BOG getting fucked up because it's such a big city. My concern is the other city near the coast that I frequent. I keep seeing more gringo douchebags on the plane.

Yeh. I made a trip to Bogota and Medellin last month. Most of the down town bogota and parque lleras chicas will ask for $. Bogota is getting there high up like Medellin, where subject folks have ruined it for regulars. If you compare Medellin post covid end of 2021 and now, chikas asking more then double. Semi pros and pros in Medellin would ask for 500 mil peso or $300 to begin with. Some of the decent airbnbs have doubled their price and they are booked for few months continuously. When chikas ask ridiculous, I hustled them good. As government is saying that inflation is cooling down and prices are falling so we need to adjust the p4p as well. I paid as low as 100 mil peso plus one way taxi for 2 hours to 220 mil peso and two taxi. Desperation has a higher price tag.

I heard on social media that a group called "Tren de Aragua" had made Santa Fe in Bogota dangerous. Has anyone had any experience with them there?

I never heard of them-- The police control Santa Fe-- they are always rousting Venezuelans-- I live in the area for 10 yrs never heard of them. Don't get drunk, don't wear jewelry or a watch, assume the robbers are watching you at an ATM, don't assume your safe if people are around, very very few Colombians will get involved in a mugging and the robbers know it. They work in teams. Stay safe.

Looking at your posts I see you have visited Monterrey and Tijuana. Were you as concerned there that the CJNG or the Northeast / Zetas cartel would impact you even when the entire city of Tijuana has been placed in lockdown and people have been gunned down in Monterrey from these groups and Bogota has not? I think that will answer your question about Tren de Aragua in Colombia. I'm sure you were fine visiting HK and checking out the SG's. But on the flip side if it's going to ruin your trip being stressed about this then maybe the red light area of Santa Fe is not for you and it'll be nicer to have escorts come to your room. Santa Fe is a bit gritty which can make some people feel edgy. If that happens to be you then just stick with the clubs. Troya, fiebre, paisas, etc then take a cab or Uber back to your room once you've had your fun. Having visited 3 times I have not had any problems but I have taken common sense precautions and I primarily go out to bang girls and not get flat out wasted on alcohol or other alternatives.
