It is the rare kettle that you find that is black these days. Even cast iron is mostly covered in enamel to allow pretty colors and easy clean up compared to the base metal. Although Lodge does make a few cast iron kettles that that are black. I have not seen any Lodge cookware here so far in my search for professional grade cooking equipment.

How do I know this? A few years as a brunch chef while I was in university. I learned my way around a professional kitchen. My interest continues and I always equip my home kitchen with professional grade equipment. There is an excellent Kitchen Supply Store on 2nd Road (yeah I take the Baht Bus there). This afternoon, got on the Bhat bus at Soi 13/2 on Beach Road. Rode it down to Walking Street and made the turn. Dismounted and walked on to Second Road and mounted up again. Headed down Second Road until View Talay 5. 18 minutes, 34 seconds, 48 tenths of a second, 20 THB.

View Talay 5 is on Thappraya Road in Jomtien. Nobody in Jomtien refers to Thappraya Road as Second Road.

Did you need me to tell you that the Baht Bus route runs along Second Road and then turns onto Thappraya Road? If you actually live here you did need to know this. If you actually have taken the route you would not have needed to know this and even a TOURIST would not needed to know this since the Baht Bus started on 2nd Road and wound up at the destination of View Talay 5.

So, very confusing.

Does it take 18 minutes, 34 seconds, 48 tenths of a second and 20 THB to goto View Talay 6? If you cannot answer that question then you do not live here and there is no way anyone except for a true TOURIST would be confused about anything that I wrote.
