If you can find 4+ hours away from whatever you're doing in San Diego, you can make this happen and be back without missing a beat. Went to Tijuana / HK on Thanksgiving for my 1st overnight. Landed at SD about midnight, Ubered to border, zero line, and got lucky with the shuttle being in the 1st lot with the red shack. Was nice since I had a small roller carryon that screams Gringo on vacation to all the cabs. Stayed at Rizo, checked in at 130 am and they honored the Wed "night" 40% off discount from the Tropical Bar coupon. You have to print it for them to accept. I got a double suite, mainly just to not feel cramped and to not regret going smaller. I didn't use the 1st nigjt with a jacuzzi, and the 2nd night moved to another with a balcony instead. Didn't use those amenties. The Rizo I was impressed, building felt sturdy and not a dinged up working girl house. Plus it was quiet away from the club noise. It takes 5 min to bring girls from HK to cross street and all the stairs. But I like that, gave more private and noise free time to vibe as they hold onto you in their heels. My Spanish is weak and the club is loud.

I walked around looking for the girl but no luck, ran into one of my meseros that served us that night and he was laughing about her and hasn't seen her since.

So with the place packed I found about 3 girls I liked. Spent lots of time walking around trying to find them. Finally ran into one and went to drink. Fun girl who was cool with drinking and was ordering the wines but she drank slow so I wasn't worried about it. Both of us drank to much and when she realized it was 7 am she had to leave. Still had a fun time.

Excellent trip report. I agree with you about HK. The issues I've had with meseros was when I should have not really have been in Tijuana in the first place, like between being employed and trying not to spend money. When you're in that mindframe, stay home LOL.

As far as your FKK experience, have you ever been to that place called FKK Globe, I think is what it's called, in Switzerland?

In HK you show up like a strip club in all your normal clothes and it's a party. I've been to FKKs that are more party-like, but not like HK. And obviously HK is all about the Mexican gals whereas in an FKK you're going to find mostly white girls from Romania, although I hooked up with a Brazilian chica once. All in all, I really enjoyed HK and will definitely return. Hope this was helpful to any newbies to HK or Zona Norte. It's a good thing I don't live near Tijuana or I'd be here all the time.
