I don't think you need to explain anything. Whether someone thinks you overspent or not is not of much consequence. Someone finally speaking some sense. Throwing western prices at people in PH only makes you look more foolish in the locals' eyes and absolutely does not guarantee any sort of quality experience whatsoever. In fact, it makes you more likely to get scammed because the girls will do absolutely anything and tell every possible lie to get that money (even if it's that 3 k for brunch).

47 k pesos is pretty much 3 months' salary working 5-6 days a week at 8-10 HR+ shifts. And that's in NCR which has the highest wages in the country. There's just no thought or perspective put into how much money that is in PH context. It would be akin to someone turning up to some midwestern town in US and giving a random girl 10 k USD for a weekend of fun when she would've been more than happy with 5-10% of that. Or turning up to vegas and dropping $100 k on a girl who's used to getting 5 k for the weekend.

I would have to agree with how you did your trip. If I had to do it over again, I would have avoided AC, and mabini street area and all the ktvs. Wasted time and money. Being with the hottest SA girls and taking a good one to boracay is the play. All newbies should follow his lead.

BS. This worked because he spent a lot and also got lucky finding a gem on SA. Fair play for a working method but don't assume this will work for everyone. Especially in such a short time. Taking a girl you've known less than week on a trip is a 50/50 gamble at best.

For a newbie with a short stay the bars and nightlife is the best for quick hits.

For a newbie on a longer trip you start the same way but build up connections in the bars, ktvs and you end up with a lot better results in coming weeks while still getting the quick hits while you wait.

If you wasted your time in ktvs it's likely you gave off a bad vibe since you don't really like Asians. Many ktv girls will give their number and are open to meet after their shift or off days. But that depends on the man too.

Yes, offloading does happen, but the percentage of single travelling filioinas who get offloaded is tiny compared to those who make it through.

She's not an OFW. She's been plying her trade all over East and SE Asia since at least 2016. I've availed of her services and yes it wasn't worth what she was charging even back then (50% of current rates) despite her literally looking like a prime Kim Kardashian back then. There are far more Filipinas on insta and other places that are doing this kind of work abroad and earning big bucks for a few weeks / months before returning home for the rest of the year. They recruit new members to their groups and help each other through the process financially and logistically (for a cut of the proceeds of course).

My point is these Filipinas may no longer need to travel abroad to earn the big bucks if there are more and more foreign customers willing to pay them western prices in the Philippines. More win for the girl, less overhead cost and more security.
