There are still quite a few "oilies" along Sukhumvit between Nana and Thonglor that have dispensed with the glass and have the ladies sitting on couches inside or chairs outside, but they also increasingly rely on prior reservations.

Went to Poseidon in Huay Khwang in Nov 2023, reportedly with the best selection of the hottest girls in Bangkok. About 15 girls, mid 20's to mid 30's, some thick and overweight, were sitting on couches in mid afternoon. There was no other client. They were clearly hurting for business. The manager sat me down 50 feet away from the girls, purposely so I could not interact with the girls or see them clearly, same trick as fishbowls. The girls even refused to get up and walk around to show their figures. Manager said 4,000 and 3,000 THB and did not budge. Did not see any girl hot enough that I must have. After drinking 2 beers I bailed. I felt it was a waste of time.

Half a decade ago the soapy places full of hotties had price groups between about 6,000 and 11,000 baht. 3,000 to 4,000 seems about right for the girls you described. I can't remember the Poseidon set up, but my old memory says it is similar to what Lords use to be. Those places have lots of overhead expenses that don't exist at places such as Soi 24. We can expect to pay extra for beautiful facilities.

How can anyone get close and personal with girls sitting bored behind class in glass bowls? Could not even see them clearly, only general ideas of sizes and shapes.

Years ago I went to Annie. About 20 girls in dresses were sitting on benches behind a glass wall 30 feet or so from the lobby. Did not find anyone appealing. Picked the best-looking girl, a half way decent spinner. In the room she said from Cambodia, looked and felt plain and crude like farm girls, not polished urbanites. Same afternoon, booked a girl in FIWFANS 900 THB for 40 minutes. Appointment was made quickly and easily with Line. The handler was probably a woman, addressed me as "honey", gave clear directions and instructions in good English. Got her address, took Uber to the hotel Watana in Huay Khwang, turned out to be right around the corner from Poseidon. In person the girl looked even better than the pics, a pretty spinner, nice, clean, clear skin, loving. Paid her fee with a good tip in advance. Thanks for the report. I'm afraid "big fish bowl and lot of attractive ladies" is a thing of the past. A lot of this business went online, which is a pity for 3 reasons:

1. It destroys privacy and anonymity.

2. It encourages scams.

3. Even without scams you have to chose without seeing the girl in person, when what really matters is how she reacts to you.
