Ticuan has tons of jacuzzi rooms.

My situation called for me to check out at Ticuan, and hang out somewhere until 3 pm for check in at Cascadas.

I got a room at La Mansion, no problem, $75 for 4 hours.

I went with a mesera from a local bar, she just broke up with her husband, needed money and maybe something else.

I've never had a problem with motels being full during the week. I know some have had issues on the weekend. I think Primer and Mansion are the most popular with Americans and lots of girls. If your girl doesn't care what motel you go to I'd probably just use Hacienda Soler Motel. It's not as crowded and is actually the motel that Musas uses to take most of the pics of the girls.

I would ask Ticuan if you can pay a fee for a late check out. I've used this many times in other cities in Mexico because I usually take a late flight out so need to be in the hotel as late as possible. Usually they will extend your check out till 6 pm. And will be less than a motel if they allow it. I know it's not a money issue but more convenient than having to drag your stuff all around.

Unless you definitely want to bang a chica during that time gap my opinion is to save your money and forget about the love motel. Just take your bags to Cascadas and ask them to hold onto the bags for a couple of hours until you check-in (which they will be able to do, can tip maybe $3-$5 for this though in theory I don't think they make you tip anything). You can spend the couple hours of gap time walking over to Revolucion and getting food + drink or checking out the various shops. Or you can hang out in any of the Zona Norte clubs for a couple hours until it's time to check in. Or there's even a dedicated room Cascadas has for guests waiting to check in. You can sit in there if you want and check your e-mail or watch the TV. Either way am of the opinion you don't need to waste your time and $$$ with the love motel.

A question for the brain trust:

I will be staying in Hotel Ticuan one night, and then transferring to Cascadas the next day. There is a long gap between check out at one and check in at the other, so my plan is to spend the time at a love motel like Premier.

So, do I need a reservation at Premier on a Monday at noon? Can I make one?
