I agree that Pattaya is far worse in numeric quality now than it was in 2015 or earlier. WhatsUp, Sapphire, and even Sensations had women who looked like models. Even iBar and Insomnia had amazing women. Many of those same women have now quit, married, retired, moved, etc. And they have not been replaced by equally beautiful women. Now the women today all have fake tits, fake ass, tattoos, fake lips, etc. * * * I still come to Pattaya for the beach atmosphere and luck of finding a few stunners. But this isn't 2015 anymore and it hurts.

Good summary from Mr. 20 on the Pattaya lineup as of this writing. I agree the current "Pattaya look" leaves much to be desired.

I understand that what's considered attractive changes over time. Same for what clothes are considered fashionable. But in the past decade the girls have adopted the ultra-sleazy look with gusto. I understand some customers like that package. But I wonder if the girls aren't really trying to compensate for how much heavier they have become. I suspect some of them think they can disguise being overweight with cosmetic surgery, and they can distract the male gaze from their girth with tattoos. The girls may tell themselves they are "thicc" or "bootylicious" but to my eye they look fat and sloppy.

Like Mr. 20, I still consider Pattaya a good holiday destination -- especially when it's cold and dark where I am. I agree the beach town vibe is nice regardless of whether you engage in any naughty boy pursuits. But truth be told, there are lots of beach towns. What's always set Pattaya apart is the chance for gents to get into a little mischief. These days, unfortunately, it's turning into a place where drinking is increasingly important and that's a bit sad.

It was fun to me. We like different kinds of fun though. Seems your fun needs to come through a bottle of alcohol while mine comes through social interaction.

- I now realize giving up on Soi 6 it has an upside: I no longer feel bound to seek accommodation in Pattaya within walking distance of Soi 6.

Spent few days in Pattaya. It is mostly same after covid but the number of freelancers on beach road is significantly down. 200 at its peak instead of the 500 that it used to be. 1000 is still the asking rate, had several Steller sessions for that price. BR has changed a bit in past few years, it is brightly lit now. Quite a few tourists but not as many as in the past.

Pattaya still delivers excellent value although facial beauty is severely lacking and has gone down considerably.
