From my investigations I gathered that there was a beer hall by the name Malaxo with SW activity.

I just tried Stanbic here in Nairobi. They won't allow you to open an account without a working permit. They said Zimbabwe might have another policy.

I don't have Mastercard or VISA. I have Maestro. I'm not sure any of those dollar ATM's will accept Maestro.

I can't bring much USD into the country. I need to draw money from the ATM. I have been drawing money from the ATM in Nairobi, 40 k KES costs me 265 EUR right now.

Is this a problem right now in Harare? Could anybody explain to me why I shouldn't just draw ZWL from the ATM?

I'm getting a bad vibe but I don't understand what is going on.
