What other word in Thai that would be translated and spelled in English with a Th is pronounced as the Th in Thermos?

Baht or Bath? I have seen that word for Thai currency spelled both ways by Thai prople because whether it is spelled baht or bath in English Thai people say it the same way, as a sole T sound. Thailand? Thai? None that I can recall. It was predicted, I think accurately, that some new club called Myth would eventually be referred to by the girls as Mit or Mid, wasn't it?

I am not even sure the Th sound as in Thermos exists in the Thai language. I don't recall hearing it much at least.

I have only heard a couple of westerners referring to Thermae as one pronounces the Th in Thermos. And I think both of them also insist on calling PATtaYA as pTAIya with the accent on the second syllable. LOL.

Is it just the Thai lady I was with or do all Thais pronounce Kanchanaburi like a Greek city name. I know I am old and deaf but it sure sounded like can-a-nop-o-lee. 555.

Fun conversation to discuss LOL. Didn't even konw Thermae is a real word and apparently google proper pronunciation is Thur.-mee (american) thuh-mee (british), I always pronounced it Thur.-may. I guess would make sense to pronounce it the way Thais pronounce it if you're talking to them but among my fellow americans I'd still pronounce it my way even tho its off a little from googles proper way hah. How many of you guys actually knew its as real word?

Years ago I picked my first Thermae lady and asked how it was pronounced, she used the hard "T" sound with accent at the end. Later I asked the second Thai lady and got the same reply. Today I checked Google Translate and got the same pronunciation. Apparently I was wrong by assuming all those who frequented Thermae pronounced it the same.

I also pronounce same as youtuber. Friend that introduced me to it pronounced it to me that way. Can't remember if the ladies I visited pronounced it the same or not. They usually just referred to it as Cafe.

I question how well informed that YouTube poster really is, this comment simply based on how he pronounced "Thermae". That's not how I've heard Thai people say it. Makes me wonder how he pronounces Thailand.

I did agree with prices he reported in a separate video.

He says they would not budge from that 5,000 baht quote. But did he first mention anything specific that he wanted in the session? DFK? BBBJ? BBFS+CIP? Anal? COF? Anything?

Did he accept the 5,000 baht quote from any of the "beautiful" girls he approached and take her to his room? If so, was he happy about or satisfied with the session he got?

Without that kind of info his assessment and even his statement about current pricing in Thermae is meaningless.

But I must say he or other guys who suggest Thermae (or other venue) girls who quote as much as 5,000 baht for Short Time are probably just telling the guy she doesn't want to go with him in a nice, polite and diplomatic way have met some very nice and polite girls in that place.

Really. How nice and polite of those "beautiful" girls to simply tell you an additional relatively insignificant amount of baht like 2,000 more than their going rate will get you the session you want with them. And would that go-go girl be as "beautiful" as the Thermae girls the guy in that video is talking about?

April 2024 - During my visit to BKK, I've tested the following:

Anyway, I had 2 meetings in my room, ok and one amazing ewperience: A threesome with a 26 why (Level 9) girl + her husband 50 why old. It was their first experience so not a PSE meeting but a surprising one for. 0 baths.

Well for non asians some of them at Thermae do quote higher rates so he probably got that rate. Asians would usually get 3 k rate. I've seen quite a few of them and one popular lady said 4 k another which probaly didn't want to go with me said 5 k and the rest 3 k.

For the barfine and ST prices in Nana it seemed accurate to me. We paid 1000 barfine and 3000ST at both Billboard and Butterflies. Some members said that was a little high but that is what we paid and we're super happy. Took same two girls from Butterflies a second night and had a big in room party at the Sheraton. Price on veggie massage was on point too we paid 300 for amazing veggie massage every morning to start the day. High recommend.

I ran across a video on YouTube that I found interesting. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U72fbziiFTE I'm curious to know if the prices quoted are accurate or in the ballpark? They seem to be very inflated. I say that, confessing that I haven't indulged in commercial "services" in BKK for about 4 years. (I've been spending my $ in Cambodia and have gik-type (fuck buddy) relationships with a couple of former Soi Cowboy damsels.).

Thanks for any comments as the accuracy of what is presented in the video bases on actual recent experiences.
