Today I make a detour to Ban Chang for a one night stay.

Before Covid, Ban Chang had a thriving bar scene, but the post-Covid scene was very quiet. I'll take another look today.

One note: getting to Ban Chang from Pattaya is much easier with the new freeway and Bolt taxi. And cheaper, too.

Before and during Songkran, wait times for Bolt were interminable. Now Bolt is quick and cheap.

It's the usual Low Season vs High Season situation.

Transportation

The Baht Bus is great if your destination is on or within walking distance of the route.

If all you are doing is hanging out in the tourist district of central Pattaya, there is no reason to worry about space on the Baht Bus. If fact, there is never a reason to worry about space on the Baht Bus. If it is full you just wait for the next one. But head into greater Pattaya during high season and you will experience what I have described in previous posts about the having Baht Busses pass you because they are packed with people.

Bolt is great. Door to door service. Comfortable. Of course if you cannot afford to use it stick with the Baht Bus. I have never paid more than 200 THB for a ride to my destination via Bolt. During my time in Pattaya, the cost difference between the Baht Bus and Bolt has never been a concern or worry of mine. When I am loaded down with packages (because of a shopping spree where I am getting respect for my cards like in the movie Pretty Woman) after shopping with my Thai girl, it makes sense not to pile onto the Bath Bus. Someone mentioned it is hot in Pattaya now. They were right.

Does the Bhat Bus have air conditioning?

Is there a place like Phrom Phong Bangkok but in Pattaya.

I mean not really a massage shop, most likely a small soapy parlor.

In the many moons I've been going to Pattaya worrying about space on baht bus is not even a Concern.

Post Songkran, wait times for Bolt are very reasonable. But traffic is still terrible, probably due to Chinese tour buses, but also population growth in Pattaya.

I taxied it to Maggie Mays yesterday, and was surprised to see yet another cousin of Honey / Cindy / Plai working there (the ladies from Laos). Looking around Soi Pothole, it wasn't quiet, still plenty of customers.

I was hoping Pattaya would be quieter after Songkran, but I had to wait 15 minutes for a Bolt taxi.

Maybe tomorrow (Monday) will be the start of Low Season, but last year, it was busy until May 1.

So hotel occupancy was down in Pattaya during Songkran.

Rich Kings and Queens didn't show up like they thought.

Lots of Rice Farmers did show up though. Was it any Surprise.

I saw on Livestream lots of Ugly Portly Thai Woman's having the time of their lives. So there's that.

If I put out exactly what I actually saw on the stage it would spoil it. In my opinion it is:

The wonder of Pattaya is the plethora of choices,

The man is giving you some ALPHA here.

The reason there are so many choices of venue types and sub-types is that each has its own customer base. "One man's trash is another man's treasure", as the saying goes. So I am also puzzled why you would stick to one place instead of exploring the other ones. 2 weeks would be barely enough to try out enough places to conclude there is nothing in town to your liking!

You could not justify the prices to take her home. You just could not justify the numbers to make it happen. Next you try to tell us that you had no idea what the prices were and when you go out to have fun you do not worry about chump change.

You do not see the issue with your post? Curious why you do not inform us about the price of the girl at that bar because that would actually be some real intel.

After being disappointed from what I saw at LK, I was a bit desperate for the rest of the night. I had already popped at WS earlier and time was running out on the rigidity of my hardness. Found a not so pretty, may even call her ugly, but please don't call her homely, girl off TF. It was a last ditch effort to salvage my evening. Charmed her with my famous pick up line I always use. She wanted mucho dinero for ST above the 2000 range, but not more than 3000. Maybe she was offended by my smile or the gangs signs I threw in my pics. Still gave me her LINE contact though. With that, I offered her 4 K to make a homemade porn flick with camera close ups and all. She hopped right on over. Add one more to my Noodle Mag account. That salvaged my night. Desperate time calls for desperate measures. Even esthetically challenge girls like her need to eat. I was happy to have given money to feed herself for a few weeks. Soi 6 is not relaxing.

I spent 2 weeks on Soi 6. Hated it and I was not the only one.

The wonder of Pattaya is the plethora of choices, and not a universally guaranteed high quality of girls and services. The reason there are so many choices of venue types and sub-types is that each has it's own customer base. "One man's trash is another man's treasure", as the saying goes. So I am also puzzled why you would stick to one place instead of exploring the other ones. 2 weeks would be barely enough to try out enough places to conclude there is nothing in town to your liking!

Personally, I don't see any allure in Soi 6. Last time I was there, the girls were young, but pretty ugly. I can find a lot of 30-35 year-old women in town who are more physically attractive! Plus, younger girls (especially the hot ones) tend to be much more disinterested, moody and laser-focused on fleecing you, without necessarily making you happy along the way. And the service was industrial-level mechanical!

But that's just me! Others have other viewpoints, and that's fine! Sometime places also change: my favourite place from last time went downhill so much, that this time one visit was enough.
