Fun to walk around and be 100% safe.

If you like the look of central american women then this could be the place for you.

I personally like the look of brazilian women so this was not for me.

This place seems to be the kind of place you bring a girl to.

The lake atitilan and Antigua are fun to visit and explore and can get really nice views from an airbnb.

The capital is also nice to get good food and explore cayala and watch a movie.

Hotels here are nice as well and offer good value.

The ATM down in the new hyatt hotel offered 1 usd to 7. 7 qt and only charged $4 fee.

It was open 24/7 and has a guard nearby so very safe.

Interesting place and I look forward to coming by and visiting the lake and backpacking a bit with a girl at some point.

Since they were very near closing time I didn't get a massage and instead we chatted for a half hour. We connected very well and I took her out to dinner that same night. La Linea:

First, this was quoted by WikiSexGuide, "La Linea is in Zona 1 of Guatemala City and runs along the railroad track north of 10 a Calle between 13/14 Avenida and 15 Avenida. I must say, I've traveled a lot since 1977 and never, not ever, have I seen a place like La Linea. The place is in Zona 1 and it is about the most down and dirty place I've ever seen; I loved it! The place runs along railroad tracks, and there was quite a police presence. There are shabby rooms after more shabby rooms on both sides of the tracks. The rooms were large enough for a bed, night stand, and a bucket of water. Many of the rooms had girls laying on the beds waiting for their next customer. Hey amigos, just wondering if Skokka is somewhat reliable in Guatemala City? Are the photos usually full-on fake? Are many of the listings possibly dangerous types of scams? In Costa Rica, it is genrally reliable other than the photos can sometimes turn out to be very old or fake or edited. Browsing Guatemala, so far the quality of photos looks much more natural / unaltered (there are signs) and most of the girls look pretty decent.

What's your experience? Stick to the spa? Use Skokka? Or find independents elsewhere? Thanks! Looking forward to spending some quetzales soon.

Have never tried Skokka in Guatemala. Wanuncios.com or the spa's that have been written about here are always reliable. Other strip clubs have also been reviewed.
