In my opinion chicas have always been a draw to Republica Dominicana. When it comes to sheer chica options and other things to do, nothing beats the greater Santo Domingo area. But, the infrastructure sucks compared to many cities in other countries. In Santo Domingo you need to be able to run with the big dogs, have game, speak Spanish, but age is is not a factor.

That barrier is decades overdue. I've seen horrific accidents caused by people making you-turns and turning into the oncoming traffic, some of them fatal. It also helps reduce traffic jams by preventing drivers blocking two lanes of traffic so they can turn left (east) out of the hotels.

That is only because they put that median in the road. But from Oasis back to Jaragua is only 3 minutes.

Hope everyone is well. Looking at travelling to DR in the later half of June for a work conference. Unfortunately will unlikely to partake during the conference period as its at Casa de Campo. Which from what I understand is a full gated village, very hard to bring WG's into the compound. And regardless would prefer to remain incognito having work colleagues around. However, I have managed to finagle an early than anticipated arrival giving me two days in SD prior and 3 days after the conference.

I have RTFF and figured out locations of some of the obvious places. Oasis and a few other spots are on the cards during my time there. However am in a bit of a bind as to where to stay. A recent report mentions Renaissance Jaragua is green and close to the action. However I have been recommended the JW Marriot in the Bluemall (its on our companies corporate list, while the Jaragua is not). Given that the company is paying for my accommodation, I'll need to convince them to front for the Jaragua. If required.

So given the above, if all else fails. What is the hobby like near the Bluemall area. A colleague has mentioned he was successful in a lobby / bar pickup a few years ago, but not sure if that rings true any longer.

Jaragua is definitely the better choice. Right on the Malecon. Largest casino in Dr. Three other casinos right next door. Casino gives good change rate. Oasis is about a10 minute Uber. The Blue Mall is in Piantini. Mostly apartments and restaurants. Nothing to do at night.

I was at the Blue Mall a few days ago. It would be difficult to imagine there are any working girls there. Took a quick trip to SD last month. Here's a short report.
