I agree 100% that's it's no big deal. Everyone can get it very easily. However, the safe sex police of ISG who think that BBFS is not common in Pattaya need to understand that that's not accurate at all. BBFS is more the norm than anything else. If that scares them, stay away from Patts. I get it all the time either by it just happening or by paying extra. More often than not, with bar girls, I don't need to even ask. They know I am generous with them and just provide it no questions asked. With TF girls, Its always negotiated upfront. For example, they tell me short time is 1500 and I might say 2500 BBFS. If they are exceptionally hot, I might say 5000. If they are are 10/10, I might offer 10 K for a few hours or even all night. It's all relative. So, in summary, it's very easy to get BBFS in Pattaya. its takes nothing special to get it most times and if the girl does insist on you wearing a condom, a little financial incentive is all it will take for her to change her mind. Can you tell me the positives of Jomtien. I am not 45 but I don't like crazy busy. I like to relax as much as possible.

Less air pollution. Hotel or condo likely to be better value for money. Riding a motorbike less risky than in Pattaya.

Has no decent grocery store. No mall. No movie theater. Nightlife does not compare to Central Pattaya. Better selection of restaurants in Central Pattaya. 24/07/365 in Central Pattaya. But there is a good selection of GC's, one Agogo (with outrageous prices and the girls do not meet my beauty standards) and a fair number of beer bars. The is a billiards hall that has very attractive attendants. Massage places are plentiful and there is a "beach road" scene here but much smaller, low key and lower volume.

One of the worst parts for me in Jomtien is that is full of a certain type of Farang. The types you see making the news headlines for "behaving badly". Central Pattaya is much more diverse.

Personally I do not see any reason to stay in Jomtien unless you are on a vacation that is not about having fun and is more about relaxing and decompressing. For lack of a better word Jomtien is suburb of Pattaya with the same sleepy lifestyle you get in any other suburb in the developed world. When my friends come to town I get a hotel room in Central Pattaya. We party from our base there.

I always felt it's financially based. Expats retired here 10-20 years ago on a set pension. They retired thinking girls and drink prices would stay the same or the baht would remain weak. Now it's much more expensive so they can't afford to hobby as much or can't afford to hobby where the best looking girls are.

Even the case being their income is set and prices have gone up, I do not think they would be mongering at the same rate as they were 10 to 20 years ago due to age alone, so they are probably spending less on that to begin with. Nevermind people that live in Orlando are not trying to go to Disney everyday and people that live in Las Vegas are not dropping in to The Mirage to play the tables everyday. People live places much different than they vacation in them.

It is like when my cousin lived here and he was calling me asking about the steak restaurants and running out to the discos every night. After 1 month he was asking me how to stretch $500 out from the end of May until August. I said dude you are trying to live like you are on vacation.

When you meet a chick and she finds out you have been here a long time, she always figures you have a lady because they know guys that live here are not going out to party daily. I have said before that some of my friends give chicks a monthly retainer of 3,000-5,000 baht and they come as much as they want them to during the month. A lot of the time one of my free chicks comes stay with me. Living here is not all lady drinks and bar fines. You tend to develop more traditional and sensible habits versus a holiday mentality.

I would advise nothing because I never go to a bar and talk about BBFS CIP. I posted that I only mention it when I am making an offer to a Thai Friendly girl. I think most people, including me, find this question too theoretical. It's like asking "where do you like eating out in your city" - you'll get answers ranging from McDonalds and kebab stands through cheap diners, tacos and Argentine stake to fugu restaurants and Michelin 5-stars for $400 per person. You're bound to hate most of such recommendations, because it's a question of your preferences, taste, budget etc. Context is everything. If you describe in more detail what you're looking for, it might be easier.

In practice what we usually do is get a pen and paper, scroll through reviews (skipping all the bickering and theoretical debates) and without analyzing much note down any review that makes you go "hmm. That's interesting". Remember, one man's trash is another man's treasure! Then start visiting places from that list and refine the list every night. My final likes and dislikes were very far from my initial list, but the first list was a good educated guess. Worst case scenario you'll spend 30 minutes to conclude a place is not for you.

My recommendations are Kink, Lips Lounge Soi Honey, TF, Telephone Bar Club, Club Fate, plus try a massage on Buakhao, a BJ on Soi Bongkot 8 (Purple for instance), and do a self-guided GC crawl and a gogo crawl at LK Metro. But do read up if these are places you're bound to like. You might not!
