Perhaps the only Latin American country that has a truly Caucasian population is Argentina. I am not sure what happened to their Native or African inhabitants if they had any at all.

Argentinians have a massive native genetic heritage. You just don't see them on tv. If you go to the country side you can see the people are very mixed. Just look at Diego Maradona.

The European immigrants essentially killed all the natives. I'm not sure how many Africans were imported to Argentina. They were all being taken to Brazil by the Portuguese.

Same with Mexicans. A majority of Mexicans have Native heritage but they tell you they have European ancestry without mentioning the other half. In fact I believe the majority of girls we see in HK and other clubs, the overwhelming majority have Native ancestry.

A good number of them also have Black African heritage although not as dominant as the native heritage they have.

While is true the Spanish brought many slaves to the Caribbean to pacify the local natives, they were not needed in great numbers in Mexico. Why? There were already great numbers of natives that were enslaved by each other or worked for low wages. As a result, it became too expensive to import slaves from Africa. After some time only skilled Africans were brought to Mexico. So relatively there not as much mixed African blood in Mexico.

A White guy I used to work with is married to a very pretty Somali girl, they have two girls. Those girls both of them came out to be totally White, except their features are like their Mother's, very exotic combination. They are tall young ladies now, one is on her way to be a super model.

Spanish colonists refused to engage in slavery and the kidnap, sales and exploitation of black Africans, therefore did not bring any to Mexico. The genetic mix between Spanish and indigenous Indian, without the black gene, produced a lighter brown complexion.

I consistently get amazed at the statements made by some when as others have pointed out how easy it is just to use a little common sense and maybe do some searches on the internet before making statements that make you look bad. I would think just looking at countries like Cuba and the DR you can see that Spain used African slaves.

Others have pointed out the web sites to show that African slaves were also used in Mexico so I won't add much o that except if you were familiar with the different looks of people from different states in Mexico you would realize that Veracruz was highly affected with African slaves. This goes for the same in a different way on the West coast were Spain brought slaves from Manilla to Acapulco and you see a more Asian look to many from that part of Mexico.

And you need to go back and study some history. The Spanish were quite centrally involved with the slave trade. How somebody can deny that with a straight face is beyond comprehension. History proves the Portuguese had no lock on colonial savagery. The Spanish were quite good at that themselves.
