Yes. They do not charge more. I usually drink club soda in the bars. I have friends that just order water. I know what you are talking about. I was in a cabaret in Nice and mixed drinks were 40 euro. The cheapest thing in the menu was water at 35 euro.

All of the bars will allow you to buy juices, soft drinks, etc. In many cases, especially at happy hour, they may cost more than beer. Don't be shy about asking for pricing when you go into a bar.

I only know Beach Road as Beach Road. There are three tiers for short time pricing: 1000 THB, 1500 THB, 2000 THB. Short time room is 250 THB or they will go to your room.
