Day 1: I went to the incall location of http://amateurtokyo.com/. They had only 2 girls for me to choose from at around noon. The girl was heavier than her pictures. If I would have been choosing in person, I would have declined everything. The total cost for 50 minutes (including a short time hotel room next door) was 25,500 yen (about $172 usd). The cost was 31000 yen, but they said if I visit 8 times I become a member then it becomes 15000 yen (for 70 minutes). Overall, I'd say it was OK. That goopy soap they use for sliding around on the mattress makes for some interesting sex lubricant.

Most people in the US already have oral herpes (50 to 80) but if you haven't kissed girls much this might be your first exposure. I agree on kyabakura as far as language. When I could barely speak Japanese, I could get into some oppai pubs and full play (but not FS) places. But not kyabakura. Now that I can speak well, looking back it wouldn't have been fun.

Some areas have non-Japanese girls and I would not trust them since scams are a risk there. With legit Japanese-run establishments you can even see the IG for some of them, some are kind of cool small but owned and run by the girls themselves (this is not the norm). There's all kinds whether girls rotate or where it's just a small shop with 2-3 girls as the bartenders with no rotation - they stop by and check on you but on the plus side they don't ask you to buy them a drink.

I don't think it is what most guys are interested in since it is pretty tame, but I did go to one long ago in Osaka where it was very casual and the girls were nice. It's just to chat, a few have very cute girls and it was fun even with middling Japanese skills. I would say the one advantage is if you click with a particular girl, you can start with her. Once the shops get filled and the girls start working, they are no longer holding up signs outside of course. It was worth doing out of curiosity, but not a main attraction.

Again, beware of non-Japanese establishments.

I am more sympathetic towards non-Japanese-run establishments than most, perhaps because I work with a lot of foreign nationals (chiefly Filipinos, Africans) around Kabukicho. I think these girls bars are a great option for those who don't speak a lick of Japanese. There is certainly a higher degree of caution that must be taken. Don't use your credit card. Don't follow random African touts if it can be helped. Don't stick around if nobody's in the bar, or if things feel off.

If anyone's interested I can give a few examples of international kyabakura that are safe and worth your time.

It is 6000 yen to 8000 yen (depends on hour of the day) for their promo rate. I don't deal with the Nigerian touts but any tout could take you there if you absolutely insist on it. They get paid a finder's fee from Luxe, it's all open and honest there. Luxe is a "touch girls all you want" club (kissing and boobs okay but don't touch a girl's privates) and at least has Japanese girls. Many of the staff at Luxe are native English speakers who have clearly lived many years in the US. Search this forum about the club. It is pretty good for a club that caters to foreigners.

There are "24 hour information shops" all over Shinjuku and you see the "18 years and up only" curtains in front of them. Just walk in and ask for any place that is "English ok". Manzoku is what Japanese use, but there is one I can't remember the name of the shop that is English staff. Plastered on the walls are all the top clubs mostly oppai pubs and hostess bars or fetish clubs. But you won't find FS or delivery clubs, which is what you seem to be curious about. However you did say you want an adventure so you will definitely find something you can't find elsewhere.

You wouldn't be interested unless you speak enough Japanese to enjoy it. I mean go ahead if you find a girl your type I guess but there is some minimum of language needed to have fun.

For FS, don't rely on touts and research online before you go. I'd give this same advice even to 100% Japanese customers. Don't rely on touts for fs, it just sucks. I mean, I tried a dozen times and every place they took me to sucked. Zero of the places they took me were Japanese. Believe me, they sucked - the girls were ugly foreign girls and that's not half of it.

What's amazing is considering every place I found myself or through Manzoku was amazingly good. Really says something about the Shinjuku tout's (nigerian / chinese) business plan. Ripping off foreigners.

I did not have this issue with touts in other cities, just Tokyo.

Honestly no idea how tell what's a scam besides the fact. If they are approaching you on the street as a foreigner it's either a scam or illegal as hell period. The good news is they don't run prostitution stings here like they do in the US. The person your talking to won't be a cop. There version of sting is to watch everything happen then come in stop you and question you. Keep in mind they can detain you for up to 25 days to question you if they want. Sure the likelyhood is low but the possibility is there.

Though I would also say the likelyhood of a street hawkers that approached you first being illegal is low. It's more if you approached them first. The ones that approach you are going off the fact your foreignor and know sex work is legal. So they promise you everything get you into a shady little place. Give you a handjob at most kick you on your way. What are you going to do call the police. Hell if you create an issue the shop itself will call the police. Cause your the one complaining about not getting an illegal service. Of course the shop would never do that. Guess what the speak Japanese you don't and your in a red light area. Your going to lose that argument 9 times out of 10.

Just remember this sex work as a whole is legal. To many foreigners have tried to do things they do in other places thinking they can get away with it. They get rough or aggressive, they make the girl do something she didn't want to do, they try and record it without paying, they take the girls money and run away while the girls in the bathroom. The shops will call the police and the love hotel or hotel will give up the video tapes the day off. Know of a least 5 services members pending legal actions for trying similar things with working girls thinking they wouldn't be reported guess what they got reported career ruined.

I have read other posts where there is an uncharged for FS or AF. I know FS is not advertised as it is illegal but AF is permitted. Is the price listed on there site all inclusive?

It's up to the provider. I got FS there on my first visit. So if she is into you, it can happen. No extra fee for that either.

I've never heard the same anecdote twice about Indians but they include: roughly sticking their finger deep into the girl's anus without asking, bad hygene where the girl would only allow doggy due to the smell, and trying to run off without paying (incall service). But the place I use does allow Indians (I pass by them as they leave), these are just what girls say were their experiences. As you say, it doesn't help that they don't seem to care about rules or the law being from abroad. There are certainly good Indian customers. I think the problem is back in India people simply abuse SWs without problems.

It is common in the US, black being the most common restriction followed by Indian. Mainly for rough play or worse. So even though they only told the girl my nationality, I'm sure there are hidden restrictions besides that.

There is sometimes a size compatibility issue if you are magnum sized or bigger. But most girls can figure something out.

Girls holding signs work for kyabakura ("cabaret clubs") which are effectively hostess bars. You pay by the hour and typically get nomihoudai (all you can drink). They'll talk to you, hold you arm, sing karaoke, etc. But for all intents and purposes it is not really sex work. That being said, I dated a couple kyabajo -- they will see you outside of work if they really like you.

Do not go to kyabakura if you don't speak Japanese because you won't have a good time. The doorman will usually ask if you speak Japanese and politely turn you away if you do not. I suggest visiting one of the international girls' bars if you like this kind of thing, usually a mix of Japanese and Filipina girls.
