Addendum: In 2023, I mistakenly mentioned Scandalo as a boate in BH (see below). This was incorrect. As was pointed out by another mongerer, Scandallo is a disco in Sao Paulo. The brothel in Spain is in Malaga and is called New Scandalo. In my experience, it is the best club in Spain (certainly better than any of the big name clubs in Madrid). It has girls from all over Europe and South America.

I beg to differ. Vive Madrid in the capital city is head and shoulders above New Scandalo in Malaga per my personal experiences and tastes.

Belo is not Rio or Sao Paulo. There is no area where there is decent action (the bus station area is cheap but the quality of the girls is very poor). However, there is more than enough to satisfy in the better areas of town, but at a price that is more than most guys here are happy to pay. It is still probably cheaper than Rio or Sao Paulo. The best clubs are in Savassi, which is the tony part of the city. I think Crystal is the boate that is generally thought to have the best night time activity. After that, there is New Sagitarius, which is not far from Crystal, but (I think) is not in Savassi. I have never had any luck in New Sagitarius, but it has been around a log time and certainly YMMV. It just doesn't have the quantity of garotas that Crystal has. My last trip to Belo, I almost exclusively used escort sites like photoacompanhantes and bhmodels (see my post from October 2023). They are a lot less expensive (perhaps not as much fun, as one cannot sit around drinking and watching strippers for an hour or two before going back to the hotel). But, I had very good luck.

As for guest friendly places, I have been visiting BH for about >15 years and I have never found a hotel that was not guest friendly. I mostly stayed at a place called Promenad Champagnat on Rua Rita Durao. I have hosted 3 girl festas there without a problem. However, it is now called Apart Hotel Champagnat (all of the rooms are suites with a kitchen and living room). I assume this means there is new management. The Royal Boutique in Savassi was GF the last time I was there (about 6 years ago), and I thought it was pretty nice. Ibis and Mercure Hotels are all GF in all of Brazil. You should probably ask management before booking your room, but I would not be worried.

I just spent a great week in BH, mostly just cooling my heels a bit and doing some sightseeing. BH is a great city and had lots to offer on the touristic front. Of course, punting in on the menu, too. But, the food and beverage is particularly good, and the region has other cultural attractions. Not to mention the weather was more tolerable than it is in Rio, right at this moment.

A few things to know about BH. Firstly, the women aren't terribly attractive, though not homely by any means. Of course, prostitution generally offers up women who look better than average and BH is no exception. Racially, the city runs the range and you will have your choices except for Japanese. I was here a little over a year ago, and I reached out to a bunch of girls, who claimed to be Japanese. Note: indigenous women, some from outside of Brazil, may advertise themselves as Asian. The 3rd did set an appointment at her place in the Edificio Veneza at 1986 Rua Timbiras. This building is aparently a place for GPS to work out of, based on other inquiries I had made. Though it is secured and there is a bit of interaction with security to get to your destination. I recall that place because this trip I did a program with a a girl on the next block at some rundown brothel on 2040 Rua Timbires (which I'm pretty sure that is open to clients with appointments.) Yes, BH is way cheaper than Rio or SP. Girls going in the 100 to 150 an hour are common on GP Guia and other sites. And virtually all have their own place, so you shouldn't be paying for a hotel room.

But, picking out the better girls might in BH be a challenge as you don't have much intel to go on. And this is the other thing about BH. It doesn't get much coverage in the domestic punting forums. As of late, GPGuia mostly covers Sao Paulo (capital and state), followed by Parana (Curitiba) and Rio Grande Do Sul (Porto Alegre) in terms of total posts. GPArena covers mostly the state and city of Rio de Janeiro. Other states get thin coverage. Unfortunately Forum Cutuca went down last year. For its size, I fell BH got left out. Whereas, I picked out three great girls in Riberao Preto from positive reviews on GPGuia. And it left me to sort out the good from the bad, and for the most part it ended being mediocre. They range from grungy to fairly clean and in new condition. Rates are pretty much the same, AFAIK. Some of the girls can be attractive and some, not so attractive. There are some older ones there, as well as some very young ones. It is important to know that this is mostly a DAYTIME operation, with most of the girls working during normal business hours, during weekdays. That's because its a commercial district near a major transit hub. After business hours, when the foot traffic slows down, most of the girls are gone for the day. The ones still around seem ready to go home. My experience in these places has been to go earlier in the day, when the girls are still fresh and most are in attendance. Because I have seen them rolling out of there with their luggage or waiting at the door for the Uber, next to the doorman when the sun gets low. Overall, it's worth visiting these places if you are in BH, but its not a destination that alone justifies a trip. But, I've yet to find service up to my standards in BH, indeed Brazilian standards, despite the economy. It's probably there, I just haven't had the that much time to look for it.

Fortunately, my best girl in Rio did not let me down yesterday. And sometimes you need to try other things to truly appreciate what you already know.

I have been coming to BH for a few decades with the exception of late 2019 to the present. I cannot for a minute imagine why anyone would complain about the availability of sex in the city.

I have only been her two nights after a hiatus of 4 years, but I have had no trouble arranging three liasons with pretty nice looking woman for a modest price. There is about a 2 block radius around Hotel Esmeralda (Av. Santos Dumont, 574 - Centro, Belo Horizonte. MG, 30111-040). There were probably about 10 + of these "hotels" (It can turn into a bit of a maze running up flights of stairs into disco / neon / laser lights after like the 5th time.
