I know this very well. I know how this works and that's why didn't offer her anything beyond what I thought was a fair number to keep prices in check. Was ok with no action even though had a tiresome travel from Pune to chandigarh to Delhi and then travelled an hour from New Delhi Station specifically to meet her as she was exactly the type I like. So I called R but she didn't picked up the call again & messaged me that she's on the way to location and as I was chatting with her the same moment I received 20+messages again from that random number telling me to don't call on R number, block her number, she's trying to scam you & I'm trying to protect you from them. So got fucking scared as this was my first ever experience in this mongering scene & blocked both numbers, deleted chats etc. So all in all I lost 1 k which I paid in advance & the money that I paid to booked hotel which was like 3 k. Never indulging in this stuff ever again & those FR on many girls look like paid to bait new mongers. Afterwards I was thinking that if R was legit then how come the other unknown number get to know that I'm messaging & calling her? This looked like a setup & god saved me from real fuck up.

Any suggestions on what could I have done different to handle the situation?

Delhi forum has also become a place where no one is willing to share these days.
