I've been in Jakarta for the whole of August with work, flying back to the USA tomorrow. A friend of mine recommended Couchsurfing for finding college / uni girls in Indonesia as it's really popular with young people looking to make friends with foreigners and practice their English.

Only certain parts of Jakarta that would normally have regular flooding during heavy rain. However, they have improved significantly lately. Worst case scenario, you could always organise the girls to meet you at your hotel.

Only certain parts of Jakarta that would normally have regular flooding during heavy rain. However, they have improved significantly lately. Worst case scenario, you could always organise the girls to meet you at your hotel.

As far as I know Google Lense (which is a function of the Google Translate App) is for using the camera of the phone to take a picture of something written (a restaurant menu for example) in another language / script (Such as Thai, Japanese, Mandarin, etc) and Google lense then translates the foreign text in the picture into English and overlays it on top of the original text. It has become quite here in Thailand where I currently am. However Google Lense is not capable of reading a QR code. For that he needs to use a QR code scanner such as the one I had mentioned in my previous post.

So it's my first time in Indonesia and wanted to get some advice; what are my best options. Depends on what is your goal and what you are looking for and who you get!
