Telegram has recently removed the ability to find nearby users and group channels, which is really a pain in the arse, especially when you look at how handy location-based apps like WeChat can be with its Discover People Nearby feature. And a lot of Telegram groups are used by WLs, freelancers and even part-timers such as Pinay and Indo domestic helpers who want to earn some money on their day off.

I was in Hk 3 weeks ago, I visited wanchai on the weekend for 2 consecutive days.

As already mentioned here the quality is not the same as it used to be before covid.

Yet Hong Kong is still a very good place, I visited Amazonia, escape, JB & Embassy (old Escape).

I would recommend Embassy & JB. Managed to pickup a girl each night (Thai & Philippine).

First night with the Philippine was good 8/10.

Second night with the Thai was excellent 9.5/10 , she was someone to remember.

Both were for 2000 HK short time & both were not a time watcher at all, spent more than 2 hours.

It's funny because I remember reading your post from 1 year ago that you cite as a reference before my stay in HK and I was inspired by it. I would like to thank you for it (I think we could make a good team together :-)

There is probably also an important factor that comes into play and that is not mentioned enough in my opinion: the time of the visit. For my part, most of my visits were in the afternoon. The atmosphere must be very different with the end of the afternoon around 18:00 (time of the end of the offices where Hong Kongers come to visit) and also with the evening around 22:00 or 23:00.

I forgot to report about Wanchai. Of course, I paid a visit, one night. Time and money wasted, from my perspective.

The usual clubs were full, of old ladies and some younger ones (all pretending to be high-level escorts and presumably demanding some steep 2000 to go to hotel) and many Western expats or short--term business visitors spreading scent of money from far away (middle age, jacket and rather elegant clothes, like "I fly business class, I work here as executive, my salary is high".

I spent some HK $500 in drinks, for me and two Pinay ladies, and I regretted. No way I could throw my money to invite any of them to my hotel, when for $400-$500 at JLM I can have a stunner, although for just 45 minutes.

The only time it makes sense (to me!) to go to Wanchai is Sunday afternoon, to befriend some Pinay DH, who will be happy to come to my hotel during the next week.

I can't wait to be back to HK! (but not for the Wanchai bars).

Heading to Hong Kong for the first time. I know it won't be like Thailand, but the sheer volume of ads on 141 gives me hope that it'll be a decent experience that I can share on here after the fact.

That being said, I see some J-girls on 141 and the prices seem higher- does the high price indicate at all that you are getting the real deal as far as service and appearance goes (no bait and switch) or is as suspect as any 600 HKD girl on there?

Back in HK last week, stayed Island side around Wan Chai. From the outside it's hard to notice any change from 2018-2019 although maybe it's my imagination but I could sort of feel something was different, a sense of thing being subdued, the vibrancy not quite there.

A walk along Lockhart and Jaffe shows there's still nightlife bubbling away in the pubs and some clubs, of course not nearly a patch on the heady days before 2020.

It's been many years since I was in HK. I remember it was my party zone every year on trade show time.

I will be in HK 7th and 8th September.

I got to Wan Chai around 9:00 PM. Embassy, Joe Bananas and Amazonia were pretty deserted. Taboo on the other hand already had a lot of people. The women though weren't exactly the cream of the crop. I was accosted by three Indonesians, one of whom professed her love for me and two of whom could have used a shower. I left after one beer.

Next stop was Escape, and it was still early, maybe around 9:30 PM. If you like club music it was a good place to be. There was a crowd, and some attractive women in the place. I strolled up to the bar to start a conversation, and damn, that woman had a deep voice. I glance over at the bartender, who gives me an intense, questioning look, and I figure it out. My dream girl is a dude that looks like a lady! I'm glad I tipped that bartender, although I would have figured it out anyway. So anyway, I'd just had a traumatizing experience with the ladyboy. Furthermore, one of the Indonesians from Taboo was stalking me, she'd followed me over from Taboo. So it was time to leave.

I headed back to Embassy, hoping to find a South American. Colombians and other Latinas hung out at that location pre-COVID. Anyway, the two agreed to leave with me. They didn't want to quote a price. One said they'd take whatever I offered. So I offered 2500 a piece based on reports here, and off we went. They appeared keen to go to my hotel, which is one of the better ones in Hong Kong. I didn't want to shit where I eat, so to speak, so proposed getting a room in Wan Chai. We headed to a 7/11 for beer and condoms, and then to the Burlington Hotel. The hotel wanted 1800 HKD. Screw that. So we tried one next door which was fully booked. One of the women decided to check the price of the Burlington on her mobile, and it was 1360 HKD instead. So we booked it and returned.

I had a great time. We spent about 2-1/2 hours together, and I'm sure they would have stayed on longer if I'd wanted them too. I was getting tired though. Both were genuinely nice. We talked about them dressing up like businesswomen and coming by the hotel for lunch and a nooner later this week. Maybe I'll do that.

How is the bar scene in Wan Chai lately? Still as quiet? Should pick up Sept, Oct as there are trade fairs going on? Heard from a friend that its been pretty dead over the summer months.
