I am not fond of Gabacho. He thinks Lokasari is like Centro in Medellin. I know both well. Just to clarify, there is no FL scene at Lokasari. All girls are controlled by Mama sans. All negotiation is done with the Mama san. Honestly you are better off going to Classic. Way more girls and lot cleaner too. I've read Gabacho posts and he is going to be sorely disappointed. Jakarta is not for everyone. I haven't even been there yet, although I'm getting closer and will be there soon. So how can you say what I think lokasari is like? I've just been gathering info from here and making adjustments to my plans. I'm thinking of staying closer to kota Indah complex now.

That being said I do want to check out lokasari and the area the other guy mentioned that he saw them on the motorbike, the guy you were talking shit to. Totally agree. Tip should be voluntary. If you put the 200 k into calculation, emporium will have similar cost compared to malio /1001. And I think its LU is not on par with those two.

It can be changed to 200 k minimum tips if you are satisfied or nothing if you are not satisfied. Just not mandatory.

I finally checked out the infamous Lokasari. Don't expect it to be like Sukhumvit at night. There are a few mama sans but you have to kind of know what you are looking for. The mama sans have a handful of girls, they call them and do a small line up on the street. Most are very young and some are quite pretty. 500 including the room. Service is very basic. Honestly Classic at the same price has far better selection and you can find gems with good service and cleaner set up. Tried it to say I did. Don't think I would repeat. Mama san would send girls to your hotel for 2-3 hours short time for 700 k.

Thanks for reviewing. Since the price is higher than classic, but setup and rooms sounds quite iffy, it seems like the girls would indeed need to be prettier and with less mileage for anyone to bother with this.

If my memory is correct in my last visit few months ago, the asked me weather I pay any tip and I agreed and wrote some thing near the room key counter area and from the reception they collected 200 k. In my second visit I told the lady that shall pay the tip to her and gave it in her hand. She was the one ready to join me after work.

If anyone is not happy with the service, ofcourse can deny the tip after the room.

If Emporium is telling guys up front there's a mandatory 200k tip none of us should complain. We just add 200k to the price that is quoted and it's up to us to take a girl or not. Emporium is doing this I'm guessing because a lot of guys had been coming in and tipping 50-100k or not tipping at all. Go to Google Maps. Search New Royal Bar. Maximize / enlarge the picture as much as you can in front of the bar. Double click in the middle of the street. A small pop up should show at the bottom of the screen saying "Street View". Click on that.

To get a Classic girl to your Classic hotel room will be 1,000,000 IDR or more. She is not going to sneak out at her own work place.
