For what it's worth, I still anticipate this happening, no one can predict when a crash will happen, but happen it will as all economic cycles are cyclical.

World liquidity cycle will probably ending in the 4th Quarter of 2025.

I'm American, most Americans are now paycheck to paycheck.

Americans live paycheck to paycheck because they are financial illiterate as a whole (generalization). The United States of America is a consumer society. They are not a nation of savers.

The US just cut interest rates which signals their concern over the economy and we are close to all out war in the middle east and Ukraine and America is at the center of both those wars.

The Fed Cut interest rates and there is absolutely no reason for this to occur. The Fed has missed their own goal of 2% inflation.

Shit can ugly out of nowhere and fast. And don't forget, markets started crashing on August 5th due to Japan and it's policy of zero interest.

Has nothing to do with the actual increase in interest rates. I had everything to do with the Japanese carry trade being unwound.

Once Japan decides to start raising interest rates, all economies will crash, August 5th is proof of that.

Smart traders are unwilling those trades and will not get caught on the wrong side of that trade anymore. The initial shock is over with.

Enough economics, I spent a good portion of August and September in Pattaya and BKK. The girls in Pattaya were desperate and the girls I would meet would constantly text me to repeat, at a level I never experienced before. It's a sign of things to come in the future.

I don't see that is a problem or the economics of the United States of America affecting Thailand at all. Visitors from the United States of America make up one the smallest if not the smallest group of visitors to Thailand. And I am thankful of that. The only problem I have with anyone here in Thailand is a Farang of a certain type from my country of origin who thinks they own the place and simply do not like seeing more of those who don't look like them. I had tell more than one of them that they were not in Kansas anymore and that the police were not going to run up on me add shoot me down like a dog the way the do it in the United States of America. I told them they better move their ass along to wherever it was going before they saw me and got their panties in a knot.

I have had to tell a few off here in this thread. Finally at least one of them put me on ignore got tired of the verbal beat downs I used to give him. Smart move on his part. I give him credit for that.

So life happened and I had to cancel my trip to Germany and instead returned home to Pattaya and while I rarely go these days decided to go walking street 808 and saw a number of black travelers and it kinda shock be as I can remember when going there just say six years ago you have a few African Americans and some Africans mixed now there are several of them most of the younger than 40. My guess is these are former DR Colombia travelers that previously wouldn't go because of the long flight but that no longer deters them.

I have been ignored in Soi 6 bars. I have been given 4500 THB quotes. From a girl who asked me to take her upstairs for Short Time. I have had a girl that told me she does not bar fine and just work for drinks (that ***** was talking some bullshit!) just like many of the posters in this thread.

Just want to mention I have been to about 75 countries and mongered in most. I do not have a need to respond to every post in every country thread like Stub. I've pretty much stuck to the Thai forums for the past few years.

And now the true story. A while back I was visiting Tree Town. Walking around I remembered Stub posting that he often would hang out at Bus Bar. This was before I joined Stub's motherfuckers club (and I'm proud to be a member). Since he posted a lot I thought I would go to Bus Bar, meet him, buy him a drink, and hang out for a few. But as I walked around I couldn't find Bus Bar. As sometimes happens my wingman and I got distracted by two girls at one of the bars. We hooked up with them and walked to the Tree Town entrance to catch a Bolt that was taking us to a party recommended by the girls in Pratumnak. We got in the Bolt car and as we were pulling away I saw what surely was Bus Bar, although it had a completely different name. I couldn't believe or understand why Stub was calling this place Bus Bar instead of by its real name.

No wonder the dumb motherfucker couldn't find his way back to VT 5 from Pattaya.
