I already got in touch with the mayor of Chiba City, he is planning to give you an official greeting at the JR station and then a ride to the soapland district. Oh well.

Posts: 42Thanks and awesome intel Captain! A better flight actually came up today with my miles program, so I won't be doing the overnight layover now. Just a quick connection through Taipei.

Posts: 6994Layover in Narita or Haneda
Plenty of time to take a bus ride to Shinjuku for all sorts of exciting entertainment, restaurants, bars, clubs.
The Tokyu Express bus picks up right outside the terminal every 10-15 minutes, arrives at Shinjuku Kabukicho Tower in about 1.5 hours. Return to the airport the same way.
Plenty of hotels within couple hundred feet, APA Kabukicho, Premier Cabin, ect. Also couple dozens less-known hotels rent by the hour or all night. A sauna / health club lets clients stay all night for $20.
Lots of good restaurants, AYCE Wagyu beef, sea food, ramen ect, good, delicious and surprisingly cheap. I really like the 24/7 Yakitory near the cinema and K Tower, delish $1 brochettes of meats and seafood grilled over charcoal, down with beers while ogling their very cute student waitresses.
Hentai and Soapland branches are within walking distances of Kabukicho Tower. Look them up.
A few hot street girls hang around Okubo hospital. Not sure if they are still there. Homeless teenagers hangout, play games at the plaza in front of the K Tower.
Subtracting 3 hours bus rides from and to the airport, you still have 14 hours for sensory overload in exotic Shinjuku. Haneda is only half hour bus ride from Shinjuku.

Posts: 42There's plenty of options (independent and agencies) and info on a Canadian forum with specific cities. Don't think I can mention it here and looks like I can't send you a dm / pm.

Posts: 52Vancouver? I did not know this was an option. I will be there in a month or two. Any recommendations?

Posts: 42Appreciate it and I understand that these things are very much a YMMV type situation unless there's a specific escort that constantly gets great reviews from well known board members. Even then you might catch her on an off day but still much better chance percentage wise.

Might just put my focus on a good meal and waiting the extra half day before I'm back in Thailand getting drained for a fraction of the price. I can certainly afford it but it's just hard to justify when I spend 6 months of the year in Thailand. Might save play time in Japan for when I do a proper extended trip there. Thanks again to all that have tried to help and I'll certainly report back anything worthwhile I might experience there.

Posts: 120No problem. One thing, I might have overstated the difficulty of finding an escort to visit a Narita area hotel. It stands to reason that there must be enough male travelers staying near Narita for there to be a market niche. Just google "escort narita Japan" for example and you will see some options.

I should point out that I don't get a commission from the Chiba City Chamber of Commerce if you choose to go there. It just seems like a good logistical compromise. But there is a serious risk that the soapland or escort experience in Chiba City could turn out to be a dud. That could happen in Tokyo too, of course. But Tokyo has many more options for foreigners and first-time visitors.
Anyway, whatever you end up doing, please report your experiences (including the sushi meal) back here.

Okay I'm a senior member and know enough to read the threads before asking questions. I admit Japan is a little more confusing then the rest of SE Asia Think I have basics.
Understand the soaplands. Also understand foreigner bias and sticking to foreigner friendly venues. Which really means for me some soaplands, some delivery, and street girls -- aka tachinbo.
Couple questions:
1. Are most hotels in Shinjuko near Kabuchicho girl friendly if register for two people? What hotels in this area are recommended? JP gave me his on recent trip (granbell) but its booked. Needs to be a decent nice hotel; not a love hotel shithole.
2. From looking at videos of tachinbo (I'm assuming they're in Kabuchicho in videos), some of these girls seem pretty hot. I can see myself partaking. My questions:
A. Many seem to have men standing nearby. Look like middlemen. Is that the norm for street hookers? Are these guys okay to deal with? I doubt I'd have a lot of tolerance dealing with them. What's procedure for negotiation?
Be. Is it like Brazil where you have to be very specific about services upfront, or Thailand where you just agree price, bring them to hotel and they're pretty much up for anything (maybe with a little more cash)?
3. Delivery Services. I'm still a little confused about "foreigner and English friendly". From reading forum I know TokyoHentai is a +. What others in Tokyo are recommended as far as ease making appt in english or on web, and foreigner friendly girls with decent selection?

Posts: 224Traffic might be a bit crap depending on the time of day. Personally I prefer the train, especially if you need to be back at the airport for check-in etc.

Posts: 120I haven't attempted exactly what you're trying to do (in Japan at least), but here are some thoughts based on my limited experience:

I'm sure it's possible to get an incall escort from a delivery health service -- deriheru -- to a hotel close to the airport, but it could be difficult without Japanese language skills and / or someone recommending a specific service. Unless maybe your hotel concierge can help? There is a town called Narita which has plenty of sushi and ramen places, I just don't know about adult entertainment options. Looking at a map, the closest sizable city looks like Chiba City, which is about 35 minutes from Narita on the Narita Express, the same train you would take if you were going into Tokyo. I googled "soapland chiba Japan" and got several useful results.
Apparently Chiba City has an entertainment district not too far from the train station with around 150 adult businesses, including around 40 soaplands, some of which will accept foreigners. You can look at the google results yourself, they include a map which shows the cluster of soaplands and its proximity to the train station. Of course there are hotels near the train station too -- I noticed an APA Hotel Chiba Station Square on the map. Here are a few of the links which could be helpful:
https://yoasobi-heaven.com/article/en/2296/
https://bestescortstokyo.com/496/
https://camikaze.cc/area/best-soapland-in-japan/#Best_Soapland_in_Chiba.
Just looking on google maps and searching for "sushi" there are many results in the train station area, some of them rated over 4 stars. I'm sure you could find a good one. Ditto ramen or whatever else you might want.
Of course you could skip Chiba City and stay on the Narita Express and ride it all the way into Tokyo, with stops at Tokya Main Station, on the east side of town, and Shibuya / Shinjuku, major entertainment districts. Of course there are a ton of options for fun in Tokyo, but it all might seem overwhelming as a first time visitor, maybe jet-lagged, and on a tight schedule. The schedule would be especially tight if you were going to try to go into Tokyo, have fun, and get back to the Narita area the same night. As opposed to Chiba City, you could spend the night there and just catch the Narita Express back to the airport in the morning or make a shorter trip back to a hotel even closer to Narita.
So, something close to the airport vs Chiba City vs Tokyo, you do have options, it just depends on how much time you're willing to spend on transportation and how much of an adventure you want to have.

Posts: 1448If time is an issue, he could just take a taxi. I usually taxi from either airport. It's really not so bad compared to other major cities pricewise. Sure beats riding on a train, or especially 2 trains IMHO.
