I think you will like the location of the Marriott. Without knowing it, you booked a place that has outside seating along a good walking portion of the Danube. I have met a few great looking locals there. The other thing to do is to get out and meet young college girls unless you buy into the high priced long in the tooth former porn stars. I would recommend the Four Seasons Gresham Palace. The views across the Chain Bridge are mesmerizing at night. The Four Seasons has awesome rooms and an upscale bar and restaurant. Highly recommend. I have never been but friends really like the FELIX Restaurant & Bar on the Buda side.
