I am waiting for you to drop the beef. Let me have my say about Sosua and you can have your say. Then we both just leave it alone. But if you wish to continue, please go ahead.

Oakie,
Old Kool says Sosua is a open air brothel.

And since Sosua is a OPEN AIR BROTHEL are you now suggesting that I will no longer have to visit Sosua since for whatever reason you think that I won't need to anymore in the future?
For the record, my visits to the Dominican Republic are to handle business as I have blue paper and a SRL Sosua is but just another stop during my time that I visit the Dominican Republic. It is actually one of the easier places for me to work from (when the damn power stays on). When it comes to sucking up, you and Coolie High certain have mutual admiration society. So is it about me or Sousa. Last time I checedk you were still posting right here from the open air brothel where you and many other sexpats have chosen to life. Thanks for clearing things up. It actually needs no translation as your words are written in black and white. But then again, my don't need any either. Unless you are a politician running for office in Sosua and that is why you are spinning faster than a NFL running back trying to avoid being crushed by the linebacker.
ROTFLMAO

Posts: 5706Is is about me or Sousa?
It is interesting that every time I have something to say about Sosua that is not glowing the is ONE or TWO individuals that have something to say about me. Do they address what I have to say about Sosua? No!
They cannot. Because opinions of Sosua vary so instead they choose to engage in ad hominem attacks and through pedantic wordiness they make attempts to assert their superiority. Interesting how someone can call me a internet troll (while engaging in the process of trolling) when I make posts that do not quote them or refer to them at all. But since they need to have the last word they can indeed have it.
Fact remains I am one of the few people that have the perspective to make an evaluation of Sousa based not only on my knowledge of the Dominican Republic but on the areas of the world that also share the characteristics that make Sousa popular. Namely that is a open air brothel ideal for individuals from North American to be International Tricks.

Depends on whether I'm claiming fans who like it are stuck there, because it's cheap and they don't have the money to afford the places I go!, or if I'm sucking up to my PM best pal Mr. T, who likes the place!
Got it!
As for your rambling plans to solve DR's electricity supply problems which you say should be "free", I'm afraid it's above my pay scale. LOL.
But I would suggest you put it your man bag and tote it down to SD and see somebody at the Dominican Republic Energy Department.
Let us know how you make out! LOL.
If it catches on in the DR, the world will beat a path to your door, You could be rich! Like Edison, Bell, Marconi and Elon.
You might not even have to travel the worlds *houses, and skid rows to buy sex. LOL.

I'm a UK Citizen, who founded a successful business in Canada which also operated in the USA. After extensive travels throughout Central and Eastern Europe, USA, Mexico, and almost every Island in the Caribbean, decided to spend most of my remaining time in DR because I love the Dominican people. A politically stable multi-racial society democratic society, with a sense of community and personal freedom from their government.
Aside from stamping my passport at the airport, I have had no personal contact with government officials during my 15 years of visiting and living here.
The question I'm often asked, especially from the two regulars I have had, 7 and 8 years respectively, both from out of town, is why I choose Susua.
It goes back to my early mongering days, where I developed relationships with both Sosua locals, and families in Charamicos, Costanza, and Moca and San Juan de la Maguana where few tourists ever venture.
I love the idea of being in touch with the locals and being welcomed by friendly faces everywhere I go. Always somebody hollering my name, giving me a high five and a beep as they pass me on the street. On slow days, hookers I fucked years ago bringing me fresh mangos, and willing to shop for me, while I enjoy a beer at the bar, for a little lunch money when my regular is not around.
No rip offs, just harmony and peace. A healthy and active lifestyle, both physically and mentally. Easy on the booze. Quality of life stuff. Lots of real local and expat friends to meet up with for a beer, and discuss the latest scuttlebut and scandal, so I don't need to troll anonymous online forums looking for friends. LOL.
And obviously I can speak the language of the country I live in. It wouldn't work otherwise. LOL.
But to get to the point. I don't know anybody who has claimed Sosua is the best place to monger, and certainly not me.
I'm a live and let live guy, so there's a whole world for others to explore and enjoy.
I am happy in Sosua, but I'm not trying to sell it. I've seen guys that could never make it work for them. I point out why it's a good place for me to be, to share the good stuff with anybody who might be thinking of visiting, like I did 15 years ago. I was encouraged by a poster here to try it.
Never looked back!

Posts: 5706A view from The Cmdr (after 10 years of living in the Dominican Republic)
There is nothing special about the girls of Sosua. You can find better and less ratchet girls all over the Dominican Republic. But those who lack language skills need to post up Sosua in order to bust a nut. Especially our local sexpats from Canada. LOL!
Part of the fun is deciding what's for dinner, and what you'll be fucking. It's a huge and widely varying menu! Every size, shape, and color of the rainbow. Not like some other destinations, where thousands of hoes look like they were mass produced for the Dollar Store.
There are those of us that are true International Tricks instead sexpats. Nothing wrong with being a sexpat. But true Internaitnal Tricks know the the quality of the prostitutes available in venues across the world are quite varied. Alas, memories of those living out the last years of their glory days fade and they are completely unaware that a numerous choices exist.
If so Sousa is your first choice I have no problem with that. But I will not accept a one country Sexpat that only posts up in Sosua and travels occasionally to Canada tell me that Sousa is the Best place in the entire world to live or hire a prostitute. And for those attempting to throw shade at me they need to check themselves. Ten Years of living in the Dominican Republic in three different locations. Extensive long term visits to Sosua. Living and maintaining a residence in 3 other countries in the world. Others can spout their male bovine excrement. Others can eat it up if they so choose. But not The Cmdr. I'm not the one. And you 1 country International Tricks would do well to expand your horizons before making your decision that Sosua is the greatest thing since sliced bread.
50 trips to the Sosua? You do realize there is an entire country called the Dominican Republic and prostitutes are available country wide? GTF?
The only people I respect in this regard is Mr. T. A man of great intelligence well traveled and full of worldly knowledge has picked Sousa as his spot because it fits his needs in that regard. He speaks the language, has list of regulars, the flights are within his level of endurance and culinary choices are available that tickle his palate are available. But in his eternal diplomacy and reasonableness he would NEVER make such a universal statement that Sousa is the best place on earth to hire a prostitute. For Mr. T Sosua is the best place on earth for HIM to hire a prostitute. He has even given me references to quality girls in Sosua. I have plenty of regulars in Sosua. They are all asking me when I am going to return. I hit the streets because I want to. Not because I have too.
The Sosua Chamber of Monger Solidarity (MCMS) founded and led by our local Sosua sexpats, cannot allow anyone else to state a difference of opinion about Sosua. For ten years I have watched various members of the MCMS drone on about the superiority of Sosua as a place to hire a prostitute. My question remains: Why do those that like Sosua need to engage in Ad Hominem attacks against those of us who merely say: learn Spanish; increase your options; explore.
It is not contradictory to state: I like Sosua.
To also state: But in my opinion, there are better and cheaper placers to hire a prostitute in the Dominican Republic and the entire world.
How you like me now?

one of the cheapest places in the caribbean

Because you are contradicting yourself, as usual, from one post to the next?
The answer is: It is both!

Have you reviewed my post about power generation that I posted about the Dominican Republic? Do you have any plans to take issues with the factual information I provided?

I'll repeat my question in case it went over your addled head, which was:
is it a puta pueblo with "high prices", or just "one of the cheapest places in the caribbean?

So, for the edification of potential visitors, is it a puta pueblo?
I have found the cost of hotels, AirBnB's, restaurant dining, and purchasing the social / sexual services of the prostitutes in Sosua to be substantially more expensive than other places I travel for International Trickin. Inside the Dominican Republic and especially outside of the Dominican Republic.

You can't see why the many Europeans come to sub tropical Sosua? Ever been to Europe in November through March? LOL.
But quality of the infrastructure is low. They cannot even keep the lights on 024/007/365. That is a sad state of affairs in my book in this day and age in a country that gets over 300 days of sunshine a year and an endless coast line for water and wind power. Electricity should be free in the Dominican Republic. The renewables are there. Add nuclear power plants to provide the 40 base of constant power the grid needs and the problem is solved.
If asked I will serve
(Just don't litter the island and the beaches with windmills though, might affect tourism. And what's this "water power" business?
Then you could take your show on the road, and back to the USA.
Imagine! Edison, Bell, Musk and Sudsy!

but from what I hear your monger hate list is growing by the day, and your rants are getting rantier!
You don't sound happy there either.

I never denied writing anything! You made that up. You are lying, as usual. I even posted the actual reference to what I posted. Never ever said anything about you "changing your LOL.
There were actually two posts on the subject.
First post, #29873, and I quote:
"I've been retired in Sosua for the last 8 months, and only had to leave on business. I can't wait to go back, I lost 40 pounds and came back fitter, healthier and happier than I have ever been. Everybody remarked in the huge change.
I have a novia to thank for that. She cooked local food for me and discouraged me from restaurants. On the weekends she might bring one of her girlfriends over, and during the week I was free to monger.
I woke up in a quiet palm treed garden paradise, with the birds. From my place I could walk to the Playero or Super Polo, the beaches, and the bars. So no transportation was necessary, unless I was going out of town. The motoconcho guys didn't peep me anymore. Everything within easy reach 10 minutes or so, and the walk was pleasant, with folks saying hola.
Apparently that kind of life is not for everybody, Lol.
Sub man was my biggest cheerleader for a couple years. But now he's gone over to the dark side, Lol!"
Meaning the negative nattering nabob side. Nothing to do with skin color. Note the satire!
Now, why would I accuse a guy who is always boasting about his "big black dick" of going "black"? Doesn't make sense to anybody but you. Nobody commented on the board about until you dug it up 6 years later, LOL.
And my explanation to anybody who would get their dainty panties in a knot over such stuff was this disclaimer in the only second post on the matter:
"The folks I have in my immediate circle in Sosua are all dark skinned, my best buddy there is an expat black American, and if I'm prejudiced at all it's against the miserable, jaded, old white mongers, who sit around the place complaining about everything, but never leave!"
I avoid them like the plague!
And here's another lie in your pathetic attempt to set me up as a racist:
"You commented about my skin color once saying that you should have know my attitude would change because I am from the dark side. Yep!
WTF? Now that was said by nobody, ever! There should be a law! LOL.
My last word on the subject! So sue me!
So I hope you are enjoying your new home in the giant Pattaya Puta Pueblo, but from what I hear your monger hate list is growing by the day, and your rants are getting rantier! You don't sound happy there either.
I'll give you another 6 months, before you crash and burn out there too!
