In Cuenca, there are also sex workers during the day directly as you come out of the bus station on the north side. Gil Ramírez Dávalos just east of Del Chorro. Walk out the north side pedestrian gate and cross dávalos. Was quoted $50 by an acceptable candidate but just nodded and walked away and she was saying 'Papi papi żcuánto me das?' so less than 50 anyway. I will be here two more months and am in no hurry for this sort of thing.

I am in Cuenca and on Avda Huyna Capac just north of Avda Espańa, near the Chola Cuencana tram station, there is a block inhabited by SWs. West side of the street between the parada and the tram. A block south of the TuTi grocery store. Typically between six and ten of them, with two being do-able. Have yet to partake so cannot comment further.

Brothels are legal in Ecuador however not near tourist areas unless you bring your own entertainment and that will be expensive.

Why would any human that has a functioning brain ever want to go to monguer or have a relationship in Manta, Mant has become a heaven for cartel violence any woman who has a clear survival instinct I either a rotation to a gangster or has a ganster boyfriend or several of them none of you no loclas have the capacity to navigate sucha chaos even if you did you will probably likely not be found or the embassy will have to put out an alert so they can find your dumb ass so I would dissuade people to get a "girlfriend" in this city go to a brothel and don't make it personal brothel girls also have gangster boyfriends the enlightenment continues.

Posts: 244Thanks Doom. Didn't really answer my question regarding all the out of date Cuenca posts, and seeking current information. But I did get a cultural education of Ecuador society. I am one of those western Elephants who take over places in retirement whether they are conservative or not. Sorry for adding to the western invasion. What I did get from your response is there are a few SW and brothels, but very few given the conservative nature of mountain people.

Let us be clear and illuminating to you all humans, Cuenca is a mountain city for those of you who don't understand, don't care to understand, or don't live here, Ecuador has 2 cultures mountain and coast, mountain people are usually more conservative than the coast, this is not speculation it's a matter of fact, to such an extent that if any of you all do an unscientific survey to the sex workers in Quito they all will say I am from Guayaquil, Esmeraldas, Riobamba, Babahoyo whatever what you will rarely see is women from Quito working as SW maybe once in a blue moon you will see a girl from Quito working in a brothel, but in Cuenca, that is not a thing all the SW are imported from other areas. Cuenca has brothel options limited but they exist, Cuenca is basically for people who want to retire from Western countries and go there like elephants to be at peace in their last days and die keeping it real the struggle illuminations continues.

Posts: 244I agree everything can be had, but current information is underwhelming. The big reason I am going is to check it out for a retirement location. Not year around, but during the Phoenix area Summer that now lasts from June-October. Since I am only thinking of 8 days on the ground, I hate to waste all of it searching out the places to find chicas. Current information on the Chongos is lacking, but am sure strip clubs (aka dance clubs?) are still operating and offering services. LOL.

It has a large population of expats (if not the largest in all of Ecuador). Europeans, Canadians and Americans make up the most of the expats.

Seeking has some gals in that city. I remember reading there are a few "clubs". This is the 3rd largest city in the country. I have not been, so I don't have much more to add but I would assume its similar to Quito, Manta and GYE so everything can be had.

Posts: 244Any Current Cuenca Information?
I am considering a trip there and am curious about finding chicas while there. All of the forum info is outdated. I pulled the Cuenca list from the archives, but am unsure how accurate it is, Today?
Am sure numerous clubs outlasted COVID. But which ones? Oasis seems to have been the place to go. Still in business?
Other tips appreciated as the internet has limited info for adult fun in Cuenca.

Came in via Panama, so while Manta has been accepting direct flights from Panama for about a year, this was my first time entering the country in Manta. I was in the 4th row on the plane and somehow is still took me over an HR to clear customs. Only 2 people working the booths and 1 was dedicated to wheelchairs and the elderly. What a disaster. Of course when I step up. 100 questions and I was at the booth for well over 20 minutes. I think because I was coming in to pick up my Visa, so I was 1/2 in the system as the customs officer was trying to explain. Anyways I told her to process me as a 90 day tourist and that seems to work and I was on my way (had plenty of time on my 90 day calendar and going forward with my visa, I don't have any time limits. Picked up my Visa the next day (lost paperwork at the office so it took well over 4 hours.) From there want to the Civil office and applied for and received my cedula. My girl arrived and stayed with me for 3 days before I sent her back home. She lives about 3 hour bus ride away.
