I am absolutely in love with this place. I checked out of the Sparks Life Hotel and moved into a cheaper airbnb near some place called the Pasar Baru Mansion. I'm literally like only a short 10 minute walk to Classic now.

I just walked there earlier and I found this taller skinny darker skinned girl that the mamasan brought to me. She was from the couch again. She had a real beautiful smile that caught my attention so I picked her.

I won't bore you with all the details but let's just say I left feeling very satisfied.

Afterwards I walked to Joni steak (it's been mentioned here before) which I noticed on the walk there and I had the Ribeye steak with potato wedges and mushroom gravy. Absolutely delicious, one of the best steaks I've ever had; cooked to a perfect medium-well, tender, juicy, and full of flavor.

I'm going to go to classic every single day from now until January when I have to leave (yes I will be extending my visa). Jakarta is an amazing place. I even love hearing the Muslim music through my windows from outside. I have never experienced a country with such a different culture as Indonesia before. I am so glad I decided to come here. Classic alone makes this city a monger heaven. And the food and culture make it even more exciting.

You have a point, but there's big difference between technologically possible, and easily available to anyone.

All you have to do is drop your guard for a second and you be in trouble from a scammer, pick pocket, etc. Does not have to be when you are travelling overseas. Someone approaching you knowing personal information about you causes you to question if you really know the person or not. If someone approaches me with some personal info about me I can not just tell them to "F off". It could be a big customer at the company I work at and I temporarily can not remember who they are or only meet them once.

Not sure if it's my bank (I'm using Fidelity) but not a single ATM here has charged me a fee. I have used Link, BDO, and BRI ATMs and only the link at the airport asked me if I wanted to. Accept their conversion rate which obviously I declined. After that the ATM I used inside the Indomaret store and at Sparks Life Hotel now the BRI by my new Airbnb none of the them have asked me about a conversion rate or a fee. I just type in my pin number and select the maximum usually 1,250,000 or 1,000,000 rupiah and it just spits out the cash. Some ATMs have a sticker that says 100,000 these give out 100 k notes and some have a sticker that says 50,000 those give out 50 k notes. I prefer the 50 k ones. I have a nice fat stack of blue notes in my wallet right now, not a brick tho. I'm still able to fold it just find. Also 1,000,000 rupiah is plenty of money per day. Everything is so cheap here. I just bought some street food 4 fried, I'm not sure what they are but they are good anyways you get 4 fried items for 5 k which is like 30 ¢.

Again the ATMs here do not charge an access fee at all--at least in my experience.

Classic Hotel has 4 locations of interest.

5th floor: Terminal 5.

2nd floor: Terminal 2.

Ground floor: Basement, at least, i think thays what its called.

All of these clubs, occassionally feature guest DJs or live bands, stage shows (dancing girls usually) and of course girls available for company or ST. The ground floor one tenda to a more local flavour with karaoke, some FL, some so-so reports from this one.

Finally, it also, it has a Spa for massage and probable extras which operates during the daytime. Never been there, dont know where it is.

Its a large complex, with the area of interest closest to the main road, and the actual hotel part furtherest from the street. From the street, walk up to the main building and the first lobby with escalators in it is the one you want to be in. The lift to floor 5 is around acouple of corners and have staff operating them, the more prominent lifts visable feom the escalators are often disabled.

I think to say that terminal 2 is on the 2nd floor may confuse people. I understand that technically the first floor is called G and the 2nd floor is called 1st and the 3rd floor is called 2nd but if you just walk in and consider the ground level as the first floor then it's actually 3 levels up to get to terminal 2. You have to go up one set of escalator and then up agsin another escalator so if you just count the levels and disregard the G then terminal 2 is on the third level.

I covered all the floors. 5th floor when it opened a few months ago. 2nd floor and basement spa floor earlier this year. Spa floor I detailed the cameras in the changing room, how to get a robe and cost to enter the room with the girls, the 2 tiers of girl pricing, the temperature of the cold water, and even the tit job on one of the statues. You guys need to stop being so lazy and asking the same questions over and over and posting details I did 3 times better.

One exception is the ground floor because I have never read a positive report about the ground level for 2 years. But have read about 7 bad reports. Never read anyone going back for a second visit. That was enough for me.

Indeed. Your reports are a great source of information and it's boring when people don't bother to read a few pages back before asking.

I visited the ground floor once. Price was roughly double of 2nd floor if I remember right (and 30,000 just to enter). Girls: maybe a slight notch better, but not really sure. Ground floor is better organized in that all the girls are together. No half a dozen different mamasans each herding their own little herd of girls, so you can get a lineup of all the girls at one location. It had an overabundance of very noisy and annoying chinese when I was there though.

I bailed on 2nd floor once after not seeing anyone I liked that evening, and found one I liked on the ground floor, but mamasan said she did not want to go with me (mamasan said she was scared of foreigners, but could be she just thought I was too ugly.) Said I could choose somebody else, no problem, but didn't see anybody else at the time.

No. I know the video you are talking about. With all due respect, I think you missed my point. All of the stuff they do in the video was stuff that could have been done before. None of it was enabled by the meta glasses. It was just made easier with the glasses. This scam is pretty easy to avoid. Just don't talk to people that approach you. Theres almost never anything good that can come of it. Especially if you're in a foreign country where you don't know anyone and don't know all the customs. Keep in mind, I'm not saying don't talk to strangers, I'm saying, don't talk to the ones that approach you. Honestly who cares if they know your family, yea okay you know my dad, good for you. Then go talk to my dad. If I cared about who you are, I would recognize you.

Before it would be somebody sneaking a photo of you as you're walking near them, uploading it to some server for the result, reading the result, on their phone, and then walking up to you from nowhere and blah-blahing. Now it could become somebody who coincidentally walks towards you, gets the info up on his glasses, and suddenly goes "Kazeu? That you? Not seen you for ages. Can't believe I'm running into you here! You still living in Bumsville, Michigan?

The former would need to be done by somebody competent, memorizing enough info for the opening and immediate follow-up conversation, and not attracting your attention while doing it. You'd have to be a person of some interest to attract this attention. The latter could be done by anyone a hundred times an hour, selecting the candidates who seem most promising.

How does karoake work this place.

Some guys there only karoake, some guys eat 🍷 and girls stay around them.

How do they pay for girls.

I was there two times.

Didn't see single guy with girl upstairs or pickup and go up.

I was on far side to avoid see girls direct and observed.

It looked like more guys here for music singing drinking than take girls to room.

I decided to check out Mari Enjoy bar since it was within walking distance of my hotel in Mangga Besar. I went in with low expectations, given the previous reports by others it's a dump. They are right, essentially, it's a small hole-in-the wall dive bar with Karoake, sofa seats, dim lighting. There were two rows of girls, the first row had slightly older chubby girls, and the second row was with young slender girls. I liked a few girls here, took two girls, one from each row for 300,000, the first girl is young and an amazing kisser, loved her sloppy passionate slow deep kisses, our tongues were locked in for the entire time. The second girl is older chubby but super friendly that we both sang Karaoke before going upstairs. The rooms are spacious, bed was decent size, but the bathrooms were dirty. Mamasan / Papasan were initially pushy but left me alone to hang out after taking in a girl. I also liked a blonde girl there, so I invited her to join me, since she was on her period, we ended up chatting for an hour using Google Translate instead.

I'm a bit confused since I haven't been there yet. How many Terminals are there? Are these simply the different floors or bars within the same Classic complex?

Finally got my account access sorted after loosing my phone. Brief Jakarta report from October. Brief mostly becuase everything I know is already been repeated here plenty of times.

Classic T2 does open at 2 pm, better selection if you wait until 5 or so. Things I noticed this trip were a very standardised routine,* like all the ladies have given a formula to follow for what to do in room. They always put the towels in the same places. No more begging for tips from room staff at all. No more drinks offered in the rooms.

Terminal 5 opens later, 6 pm I think, and was almost empty at 8 pm. It seemed to only be getting going after 10 as I was leaving. I visited once, its much the same as T2 in price & procedure. Girls about the same, although I thought the dancers were better looking. Central stage, with tiered, lit seating either side for ladies. More like a pair of fishbowl. Rooms are on the same level, through some doors at the back. This means the whole ST room is shaking with the bass. Only went the one time. Aint nuttin special.

Whoever described Classic as Economy class, Emporium as business and 1001 as first class was bang on the money. Very appropriate comparison. Girls in 1001 look like the promo girls at an F1 race or major event, definitely a step up. Only managed to visit those 3, I didn't get to KI or KG this trip, didn't have enough time on my hands.

You obviously missed the point of the video. A scammer (aka bad person) wears the glasses walking down the street. Finds your FB quickly. Looks through some pictures. Maybe you listed your occupation, city where you live, and left your "friends list" open to be seen by anyone. Now they use that to say "remember me?" and mention your home town and some friends you share that the scammer has never met of course. They can cross reference with other sites to get more immediate info. Example is some sites trying to sell information about you. Some info is free and scary. I looked up my name and it listed several past cities and states in USA I lived and listed several possible family members which were dad, sis, uncle, etc all living in different states. This is all current easy to get info but takes time to cross reference the info together. With the glasses it is immediate and can be used to sucker a ton of people because it is hard to say "F off" to someone who you may have actually known and who knows some of your friends or family.
