I rarely go to Lleras. I might go tonight after a Tyson fight watch party with some friends since the host lives in that area. If what you are saying is true, it wouldn't surprise me. The talent in El Centro has fallen off tremendously compared to pre-c19 and worse compared to further back. If more of those are up in Lleras, it ain't a good look. I have been at Lleras around midnight twice one week ago. Two samples have testified me that Lleras is not a place anymore where to find the model-type girls that we were used to see there before COVID. It does not matter if the same individuals move from Veracruz to LLeras or not (well, many do). What matters is that the average / overall outlook and elegance of girls there is NOT better than at Veracruz. This is out of question. The place that I stayed saved me from someone with a fake ID. She said she had a physical Cedula but when she arrived she only had an electronic copy. When the front desk looked at it closely the ID number on the bottom it said 0123456789. I quickly ushered her out the door and had her leave.

A few hundred dollars over a week or two is a drop in the bucket when you think about the up to $2,000 it cost for airline, hotel, and food over a short trip.

I'm a casa man but have been to both Centro and Lleras and have sessioned in neither place. I agree with Turgid, the airport is in fact a scam and guys who say that it isn't a scam and try to explain it using supply and demand, so not understand economics.

But he mentions that he likes to go to duty free. That is actually where the scam is. At the liquor store near my house in the States, Dominican liquor is cheaper than it is at the duty free in the Dominican Republic. Most people assume things in those shops are a bargain, but if they were to go to a normal supermarket or shop outside of the airport, then they will realize how much things are marked up in duty free.

You don't understand that because you are paying $2,000 for your airline, hotel and food for a "short trip" and that's not necessary if you're a Centro rat. Enables you to make more trips. Plus even if we did pay $2,000 for those three things, we'd still want to pay reasonable prices for the fourth thing, the fifth thing, etc. That's not sound logic. "I don't understand why people who've already spent a lot of money don't want to spend more money. " That would be somewhat like saying why bother to use public transportation since you already paid a lot for a flight. Hmm maybe you think that way.

However, it's true that a real Centro rat would never stay in Poblado.

Your explanation is good and well reasoned but this is why I think the airport is a scam: lets say you go to the supermarket and the bottle of water is $1 then you go to a mall and that same bottle is $2, it is understandable because the mall salesperson has to pay rent. The airport salesperson probably has the same rent to pay but charges $5. Why does he do this? Because he knows that you cannot leave the airport to go buy the water somewhere else. That's a scam in my book. I always go the airport well fed and well hydrated and window shop only. The exception would be duty free items that are reasonably priced and that I need, of course.

Let's just all agree that all airports are scams then. No matter where they are located LOL. Paying friggin $4 for a small a $$ bag of chips, wtf. Lets dump movie theaters in there too.

What do you expect when you use a fake profile. Would you respond to chics that are using fake profiles? Man, some of the things you read on forums. Smh. I am a Centro Rat and only been to Parque Lleras twice and left early like 10:30 pm. I saw a few Centro girls both times. Just MY GUESTIMATE of the percentage of the Centro girls would be less than 10%.

I guess the better question is, why deliberately double your sex worker's salary? Are you just feeling generous today and want to leave a big ol' tip? Or are you afraid you won't get service without offering a higher price? If you just offered 10 or 20% more, that's a huge difference compared to offering 80 or 90% more.

Because they do not know or care what it costs there. They only know it is cheaper than back home.
