Could it be that, with yesterday's rain shower, the rainy season is finished? Today, walkies, a very nice breeze blowing, dissipating the stifling humidity. Still hot and sweating, but the sweat plus the breeze operating as designed, cooling. When I sat down at the "Cheers" re-hydration station, my shirt was dry enough that I wasn't shivering in the A/C.

Blast from the past - needed a convenient meeting place so picked the Nana Hotel as it's easy to find for anyone. Damn, dinosaur boneyard. Hadn't been there in 30 years, but the lobby's a/c was nice while I waited. But as soon as the meet was met, we moved on to the land of the living. Yes, it might still be across the street from the Nana Plaza, but for Christ's sake, have some energy and walk a few blocks to a descent hotel (no offense meant to dinosaurs).

Also stopped by Bumrungrad hospital, obviously VERY popular in the Middle East and South Asia, which says a lot for their local hospitals. I was there for one simple task - after striking out twice looking for Ampersand ice cream, they have a shop on the mezzanine floor. Not cheap, but so good, and really appreciated the dry ice added to the foil bag to keep the creams solid on the RTB.

International traveller here. Sampled a few locations. Back in Bangkok last few days and thought I'the share as I've read reviews that have helped me in the past.

Four locations tried.

1). Cube Massage. - shown iPad of selection for a lunch time snack. Picked lady and image was close to the real thing. Went for standard shower and 40 minutes. 2600 Baht.

Experience was low. No Thai smile. Perfunctory. Need a release so stayed otherwise might have left. I told mamasan that not the best. Lady would not even rub back and head at end with 15 minutes left. Would I recommend? Nice deco and reception, but I don't go for the front office. 3/10 overall experience and glad I didn't pay for more.

2). Thermae Cafe. - went around 10 pm. It was heavy with both girls and clients. Got drink. Went around spoke to a few. I don't mess about and I explain exactly what I want so no misunderstanding. Massage. BBBJ, FS, CIM followed by massage. Silly prices quoted or no CIM. Decided not to waste time or money, so left to Nana.

Not new to the game and recently came back from a 8 night /9 day stay in BKK.

So summary and thoughts.

Context.

Been to BKK 3 times before over the past 10 years, 2 wice with Business and Once with 2 other friends.

Each time it's changed a lot, both in terms of cost but also quality. Each time you just need to have some commonsense and wits about you and respect the moving nature of how things happen. Like every nation, things move, people's quality of life and cost of life increases and so there's always challenges that this brings.

This time I decided to go alone!

I'm British Indian, do well for myself, worked hard, and so am lucky enough not to worry about money per se. I've worked hard, so I like the play hard and like the finer things here and there.

So I flew in via FinnAir Business Class brilliant flight and even slept so I wouldn't be tired at the other end. First time using Finnair and will definitely be using them again!

So prep and arrival wise.

Got e-Sim unlimited and activated it before I left London.

Had 5 k Bhat for contingency.

Signed up for TF at Heathrow and let that kick off.

Made my way to flight (indirect) and then 15 odd hours later landed in Bangkok (BKK).

Got a Bolt from BKK to Hotel (Sofitel).

As I had part slept on plane. I didn't have the usual tiredness and so just checked in, had a shower and chilled for a few hours and got acquainted with Hotel staff in reception and doorman.

Outside the hotel is a Currency Exchange so changed up 50 k bhat and returned to Hotel to put cash away and usual security protocols I generally follow. If you know, you know.

I won't do a day by day breakdown but rather a summary of what I did and thoughts.

The Game (why we go here!

So I'm a guy that can go anywhere alone or with people. I don't need people with me to have a laugh and enjoy myself and so doing this alone was fun (in my head and in reality).

Black Cavier: Wanted to try this place after a referral from someone I know. It's not hit or miss if you have a standard you don't want to go below AND have the moolah to spend. It IS more cash than I suspect any other place, but on the 3 days I went I saw the largest number of 8's to 10's then anywhere else. Total spend on the 3 visits was 24 k Baht and total time with girls was 90 minutes each. All was open for neg \ allowed with the girls in the room and I didn't have any bad experiences, some were more open then others, but by large all three subs. But there were some true stunners here. Make sure you discuss your needs \ perversions before though if you can! 😊.

TF: Kicked this off before I left London, and so on the first day I logged in and have to say there's a lot of women!! Its like a friggin meat market! So you MUST invest time and energy and know how to engage and interact to get to the point quickly. Expect a 25% no-show rate if you spray and pray meets. Over the course of my stay I saw 4 woman and each I saw twice. Not a dull moment or an issue and on average inc tip I paid 2500 Baht. Keep to the 3 day rule and run / rule with your mind not your cock.

Thermae: Wow this has changed! From 8 to 11 between Wed and Sat is probably the best times. But you got to have the mindset of a Sniper. Go in with a clear requirement, budget and timing. You aren't there to sit, drink and stare! You are there to drink, pick and go! Be confident, be clear but firm and you'll do well! I went for the 8's and above and saw 5 women over the course of my stay. Average cost inc tip was 4 k Baht. All were back to hotel and average stay was 2 hours. All 5 were open to LT but tbh there's too much fun to be had to have LT's in BKK. 3 of the 5 started to get a little too friendly and wanted to meet daily and I suspect used their playbook to try and delude and extract cash using the petty stories of "my mother is sick etc" (a guess rather than facts) but all were good in bed! No limits and no bullshit.

Massage Parlours: Had a massage every morning \ early afternoon between the neighbouring SOI's. Ranged from 60 minutes to 90 minutes and he or not depending on how I was feeling. I probably saw a fair number of 7's and 8's in shops in all honest, and I am 99% sure they are up for outcalls to Hotels or even LT. But in all honest the MPs are usually my last choice. Cost ranged but average was 800 Baht inc tip.

Randoms: T21 and a few other shopping areas are full of independents \ locals that if you are sensible and nice you can get to see. I met up with 1 on Day 3 and tbh she didn't want anything just seemed to want to be treated nice, fed and fucked. But gave her 1500 Baht.

Nana: What a crazy lane! Overpriced, but fun to be had if you don't let yourself be manipulated! Spent a few nights in some bars on and near it and tbh theres lots of fun to be had if you know your game. I didn't take anyone from there tbh as used it more of a chill time for me.

Overall, this was a good circa week and given the intent, I could have made it even more fun but tbh I didn't do too bad!

Other Notes.

WTF is up with Indian Indians? Very embarrassing. I think I'm ok in saying this but deodorant and acting normal seems to be alien. It is so embarrassing to oberserve this and it gives everyone with a brown skin a bad name! Thankfully, locals are now understanding that the sane normal and respectful brown skins NOT from India aren't the same! The number of girls I spoke to who made comments about Indians was concerning! But they were all quick to understand if you were from the West. I got asked 3 times in some venues where I was from at the door and as soon as I spoke they either asked UK or Australia (fucks knows why as I don't sound Australian). I stories I got told by one security guy and a number of girls on them was outright embarrassing.

There are a lot of Asians (Chinese, Japanese et al) who flash the cash and are convoluting the market. The girls love it as there easy pray and allegedly finished there business quick (numerous girls explained this).

Cost things have got more expensive, but its still relatively cheap if you know where to look and go.

Hotel Was girl friendly. 3 times had to check in details but others not an issue.

4 times in Bangkok and you didn't do nuru? Dude, you got to try it. At least once. 1. Age is setting in. While I can still hump (double entendre), seems that the BKK streets are getting stretched more and more each visit. From my perspective, the different equipment involved makes it impossible for the girls to use the same techniques.
