Negotiating can be tricky because the typical guy is new to this and might cave if a girl asked for a higher number, thinking he might lose his chance if he tries to haggle. But knowing that most girls take 10 k or 20 k, it's best to do as you did and give the number yourself first. Instead of asking "How much". Both girls took your offer, that's my experience most of the time. Even if the 10 k girl asked for 20 k, that's still within your expectations.

Many DH girls will take 1 man or 2 man for FS, but some will ask for 3 or 4 knowing some of us have money. A few really do charge that much, a few don't do it at all.
