My flight from Kuala Lumpur landed in Jakarta around 10 am. Immigration, customs, and baggage claim took less than 45 minutes. Every establishment has the right to set a reasonable dress code. If you don't like it you can choose to go elsewhere. I don't like the fact that smoking is allowed in the bars. Jakarta is far better than Bangkok in that the bouncers don't indiscriminately turn you away based on skin color or other things you can't change. The house doesn't charge foreigners any more than locals and girls never (or very rarely) turn you down if you select them. There is no clipping for drinks and other small scams. And its the lowest price in Asia for 19 and 20 year old cuties. If that's not enough reasons for you to go there and wearing tank tops is somehow more important to you, then just don't go there anymore.
