Upcharge is common and you should expect it. The norm probably is no more than 50 mil, 30 mil has been reported as common on ISG. Use this info to negotiate your own. I think you read a poster who does not negotiate for his own reason. You can't use the non-negotiated price as reference point.

Hey everyone, I'm thinking of going to Bogota for the first time next month. I've been to Medellin many times but not Bogota. Just wondering if there is a safe area there similar to Parque Lleras in Medellin, and a hotel similar to the Mansion. Also, any suggestion for a hotel or apartment in a safe area that is chica friendly? Thanks in advance.

Zona T is the most similar to Lleras as in its upscale there is a lot of bars. But its more cosmopolitan there mostly cause the weather you are always wearing a coat or have an umbrella. As far as Mansoin style setup not really however Bogota is HUGE so there are plenty of hotels to rest at. Bogota has lots and lots of casa and types so its best to be centreally located. While Usaquen Is nicer I would suggest Chapinero Alto, you are close enough to go to the action in Santa Fe but not too north to be in traffic for 45 min.

Taormina is the main mongering place in San Jose Costa Rica. The chicas hang out there and you just take your pick. I go every year for Halloween. I love it there because it's safe and you don't have to go anywhere but up to your room. The chica fee is $15 per person each time. Average price is $100 USD but a lot of girls will try to ask for $150 or $200. It's up to you to negotiate. They also give you free breakfast.

The other place you're thinking about is the Del Rey. It's gone out of business and closed for good.

Look on the CR thread. Sportsman's Lodge and Taormina are decent hotels stocked with hookers. Taormina is more lively and Sportsman's is more chill. Both are orders of magnitude better than that piece of shit pervert house in MDE.

Have you thought about Hotel Taormina in Costa Rica? Similar shoot fish in a barrel set up, similar networking with other guests, hella lot closer than Pattaya. Just a suggestion.

I hope they do not move those raggedy-assed towels to M2 also. That Mansion has really been run into the ground long ago. Neglected and milking us gringos for all they can get and putting nothing back into repairs or maintenance. I had to wait 2 hours for someone to fix the safe in my room. Nobody seems to care much there. Bye.
