My Short Stay In Bangkok
After a nice four nights stay in Pattaya, I took a 11:30 am bus to Ekkamai station in Bangkok for 131 be. From there it was a pretty easy walk even with luggage to the BTS station. A few stops later I got off at Asok station and walked the rest of the way to Ruamchitt Hotel which is right above Thermae Cafe. I booked this hotel for two nights for this convenience. *.
Compared to Pattaya, I didn't find as many opportunities for Thai street food in the Nana Sukhumvit area compared to where I was in Pattaya. In fact much of the area near Nana Plaza was middle eastern and Indian rather than Thai cuisine. *.
So I walked back past Ruamchitt and went into the big Terminal 21 shopping mall and on the 5th floor was this awesome food court called Pier 21 with lots of cheap but decent food. This is a food court similar to the one near the buses at the Bangkok airport where you load up a payment card and it gets scanned each time you order a dish. I liked this place so much I decided to eat here both my nights. I got free breakfast at Ruamchitt Hotel.
For my first night I simply went downstairs to Thermae. As expected I was directed right away by what I would consider as a rude staff guy to buy a drink. I ordered a pineapple juice for 80 be which was a bit higher than any venue I went to in Pattaya. At about 10 am the place was packed with girls and there were lots of guys walking the circuit to view the girls on both sides. *.
I already knew that at Thermae, the girls were not allowed to make the first move unlike those at Soi 6 in Pattaya. But a few did touch my arm as I walked by and many said Hello, (I'm Asian Canadian by the way). I would say that 80% of the guys there were Asian while the rest were Caucasian and Indian. *.
I settled on one pretty little MILF who wanted 2,500 be and since this was my first night there I agreed. She wasted no time once I started a conversation with her if I wanted to take her. So pretty well straight to business. *.
She submitted her ID with front desk at Ruamchitt and back to my room we went. Once in my room she turned up the AC and turned most of the lights off. She claimed that she was shy and we showered separately. *.
The session was okay but not great nor GFE at all. She allowed me to take a photo of us afterwards though. I did not accompany her back downstairs. *.
For my next day, I had planned to do some touristy things and visit the Grand Palace and what Arun via the tourist river boat but I felt I was coming down with a sinus throat infection a day before so I decided to just spend the day inside resting rather than go out in the 33 see daytime heat. Otherwise I would have visited these attractions and I won't miss them on my next trip to Bangkok*.
When it was almost sunset hours later, I walked to Picasso Massage near the Westin Hotel and Terminal 21. I was greeted by a friendly mamasan who showed me the rates and called out the girls for a five girl lineup. I chose the one I thought I recognized from their website and did the standard room 60 minutes at 2,500 be. *.
The room my girl brought me to was smaller than the photos on the website. I got shower for two, a nice oil back and legs massage followed by FS. She finished me off with an oil HJ at my request when I couldn't finish inside her which happens with me at times. Then she showered me again. Overall I had a decent session. *.
However, my session at Picasso wasn't what I had expected. After the session both the mamasan and my girl showed me one of the bigger rooms with an air mattress where they do body to body massage. This is what I thought I would be getting and what I had come to Picasso for. Then mamasan and I had a nice pleasant chat and it turned out that there was some misunderstanding and I paid for the wrong category of service. Their body to body services all start at 3,000 be for an hour with nuru or oil which I would have paid for. Oh well, I missed out on getting at least one soapy, oily or nuru body to body session on this trip. I did walk into two soapy places while in Pattaya but the girls at the rates I was willing to pay were all fairly chunky in my opinion. *.
Afterward my session at Picasso I walked three minutes to Terminal 21's food court for my final meal in Thailand. I also walked over to check out the Soi Cowboy scene and must report that it is now a mini version of Pattaya Walking Street loaded with lots of general tourists. So although there are girls available there, it just isn't a pure mongering scene like it was years ago. *.
The next morning I had to check out early and walked over to the MRT station near the Westin to go one stop for the airport train as I had a morning flight out. My short stay in Bangkok is certainly a very small sample size but I did do my best to report what I did experience over two nights. I'll be the first on admitting that this is way too short stay. I would have liked to try and out at least two different Thermae girls and at least one body to body massage with FS. I'll plan for a longer stay next time. *.

Sorry to hear that about Billboard. When I visited last year it had really good talent, although you did have to sift through some 6-7's. Rainbow 5 had a decent selection too. I return next week so I'm eager to see how things have developed.
A question about Wood Bar. What was their lineup like? Older MILFS? Or are there some girls there in their 20's. Early 30's?
Good luck on the rest of your trip.

Guys: If you are planning YOUR FIRST trip to Bangkok it beehoves you to STUDY as much of this Board as humanly possible.
For my last "first" trip, I went back about 10 years from the last time I had been there.
I skim out the reports about girls more than 6 months old.
You can also use the search functions, and read all the posts ever written as to a subject. For example, I just saw a post about a Russian streetwalker. I immediately did a search to find what I was looking for, then I was able to ask the appropriate question of the poster with a bit of knowledge in my head.

Went to Nana Plaza last night. Jesus, what a dumpy area especially compared to where my hotel is in phrom phong. The bts was packed like sardines at 10 pm. I went through basically every decent lookinggogo / bar in like an hour. From what I've read the minimum price here is like 5000 baht, which is waaaayy too much for the kinda girls being offered here. Nothing above an 8, even in billboard. Outside it was decent for the price at 2 k but I wasn't feeling any of the girls. Walked down to wood bar and got the best BJ of my life. This lady was deep throating me for 20 minutes and sucked the soul out of me. Best experience in Bangkok so far and only 1000 baht. Never orgasmed from a BJ before. Buncha degenerates on that street trying to sell you drugs. I hopped on the last bts back to my hotel and went to sleep exhausted. I'm a country guy so the hustle and bustle of this city is getting to me.

The girls outside thermae, you mean the girls coming out of Termae, because the girls on the street towards Nana were not good and like someone else said a lot of dudes trying to sell drugs to you.
Nana Plaza on block with the other foreigners and she was not pure russian, but blonde and white.
You mean down the street from Nana Plaza towards ladyboy corner and soy 6? Where the Vietnamese and African girls hang out?

If you would have read the forum you wouldn't have selected girls outside the Thermae. Your first experience, when the "girl" wants the money and refuses to shower? Ladyboy.
Now tell us where you found a Russian streetwalker?

Thanks.
They were probably confident they would get pulled. They were 2 of the best girls in there, a lot of younger asian guys walking around, and like EverythingThai said, I did not look the part to pull the hot young girls. I prefer the scatchy parts so try not to dress to nice to attract unwanted attention. Term was not my focus I just wanted to see.

I usually take two to three showers a day, change clothes at least twice, ensure that I am well groomed and that includes meticulous manscaping and trimming of armpit hair as well. Also be clean shaven guys. Asian women for the most part do not like beards and mustaches and stubble isn't going to get you anywhere. Save the ragged look for Pattaya.
I close my eyes and read that advice from you verbatim in my head since you've had the courtesy and decency to post it probably 50 times over the past 20 years.

All valid points. Being seen as a "good heart", khun jai dee, goes a LONG way in helping to achieve success. That's not saying "overpaying", but just being seen as a nice person, no entitled attitude, being respectful, physically safe. Yes, Thais pride themselves in their cleanliness. Telling a girl she's "hom", smells nice, is a real complement. "Min", stinks, is a real INSULT. As others have stated, city wear is fine, doesn't have to be designer, but beach wear... save it for the beach. Myself, beard - no bar - but then, it fits in with my character. Never had a problem with it.
Enjoy the language barrier, have fun with it. Remember, this is Thailand, she speaks Thai, and the problem is that you don't, or not that well. A few simple phrases go a long way. Learn from her.
Just the other day, a regular I've known for a long time told me, "Always happy to see you. You make me laugh, AND I can laugh around you. Others, too serious". It's BUSINESS, transactional, without a doubt. But if you've ever worked customer service, there are some you like to see, and others, rather not.
I've said MANY times: you treat her like an orifice, she'll be an orifice. You treat her like a person, she'll be a person.

Thermae. Got turned down by 2 cute girls. Decided to leave. Came back a few times but never found anything I liked and having to buy a drink each time I came in was not ideal. The SW outside were a bad choice. Tried 2 different girls with the same results. Girl gets to hotel and demands money first. I show have it but want to wait until after. She refuses to get shower and leaves. Other girl was preg and tried to cause a scene to get more money for doing nothing. I paid her to leave the other girl just left. Price was 2000 plus hotel.
SWs on Nana used to be my favorite. Found a lot of gems. This time was more Ladyboys and older than before. Price was 1. 500 to 3. 000. The most I paid was 2. 000 plus hotel. Russian girl turned out to be great and had a good body. The cute Vietnamese girl was not interested but then said would do a 3 some with her older friend.
Patpong Night Market bar fined one girl for here. Had to also pay for lady drinks. Total cost was close to 6. 500 but the girl was cute and I wanted to try. Had a great experience but not into paying BF and lady drinks. I do like the idea of maybe getting drinks and having fun without the take out..
Do you know why the two girls in Thermae turned you down?
Thanks.

Navigating interactions with Thai working girls in Bangkok can sometimes be a challenge, especially considering the many stories ranging from disengaged attitudes and mechanical experiences to refusals of BBFS and runners or girls asking for money upfront. As a result, it's essential to approach these situations with strategy and awareness to ensure you have a positive experience. Below, I'll share some proven tips that have worked for me over the years. While no method is foolproof, these approaches can significantly improve your chances of achieving a mutually enjoyable encounter. Bangkok is much more different than Pattaya guys.
1. Presentation Matters.
First impressions count. Ditch the ragged look, such as flip-flops, tank tops, and unkempt attire, as they send the wrong signal. Instead, opt for well-fitted clothes, polished shoes, and good grooming. Cleanliness, deodorant, and a touch of cologne can go a long way. Thai women often respect men who look well put-together, successful, and healthy. A polished appearance makes them more comfortable and relaxed, which can lead to a more enjoyable and intimate connection. The girls in Bangkok spend hours getting ready to go to the clubs and often look amazing in their dresses and high heels. Try going to Flamingo in Emquartier or Thonglor Soi 10 and you will know exactly what I mean.
2. Generosity Goes a Long Way.
Being generous doesn't mean being a "Simp. Small, thoughtful gestureslike buying a few drinks or leaving consistent tipscan make a big impact. In Thai culture, maintaining "face" is crucial, and your generosity can help the ladies feel proud in front of their peers. This often translates into better experiences later. This is one of my best strategies. The money I spend depends on the quality of the lady.
For example, once I bought pizzas for the staff at a bar I frequented, and it completely transformed the evening with my chosen companion. On another occasion, a simple dinner at a rooftop bar made my date express her gratitude with a passionate and memorable night. It cost only a few thousand Baht for cocktails and some appetizers. It's not about overspending; it's about showing respect and making them feel valued.
3. Don't Sweat the Small Stuff.
Flexibility is key. Thai women generally dislike overly talkative or detail-oriented men during these encounters. If you relax and go with the flow, many of the specificssuch as certain preferences or restrictionsbecome less of an issue. A genuine connection often leads to a more organic and enjoyable time. This is one of the key strategies that I use to get BBFS.
4. Respect and Politeness.
A little respect goes a long way. Learn basic Thai phrases, ask about their lives, and treat them courteously. Simple gestures, like opening doors or showing interest in their stories, can deepen their comfort level with you. Remember, these women are individuals with real emotions and lives outside their work sometimes. Approaching them with empathy and kindness will often lead to better outcomes.
5. Lighten the Mood.
While alcohol isn't necessary, getting your companion tipsy can help ease inhibitions and foster a relaxed atmosphere. The goal is not to push boundaries, but to create a comfortable environment where both you and the lady can enjoy themselves without awkwardness.
6. Foreplay is Key.
Many experiences hinge on how you approach intimacy. Taking time to please her, especially through foreplay or other thoughtful gestures, can make all the difference. If she feels cared for and satisfied, she's more likely to reciprocate in kind.
While these methods aren't guaranteed to work for everyone every time, they've proven successful for me throughout my time in Thailand over the past 16 years. A respectful, considerate approach tends to yield the best results. Whether you're on holiday or you are an expat, following these principles can help ensure memorable and enjoyable experiences with the ladies in Bangkok. Again, the er is a huge contrast between mongering in Bangkok and mongering in Pattaya. Pattaya is a tourist beach town. That should be enough right there to enlighten you.

I'd just like to stress your point about "face" further. It is not very intuitive to understand, but once you do, it'll by far be the best tool in your kit. Helping a Thai girl save face, or giving her bragging rights has always led to amazing nights for me. It's very small simple things. A common example is from girly bars. If a girl is chatting up another customer for a drink and gives up after 10 minutes / after customer refuses, volunteering to buy her a drink. Or else picking the 3rd /4th best lookers to buy drinks / chat despite the best 2 being available etc.
Don't get all hero worshippy, hes just reciting the eternal basics that have been repeated ad nauseum here.
