Posts: 1082My Short Stay In Bangkok
After a nice four nights stay in Pattaya, I took a 11:30 am bus to Ekkamai station in Bangkok for 131 be. From there it was a pretty easy walk even with luggage to the BTS station. A few stops later I got off at Asok station and walked the rest of the way to Ruamchitt Hotel which is right above Thermae Cafe. I booked this hotel for two nights for this convenience. *.
Compared to Pattaya, I didn't find as many opportunities for Thai street food in the Nana Sukhumvit area compared to where I was in Pattaya. In fact much of the area near Nana Plaza was middle eastern and Indian rather than Thai cuisine. *.
So I walked back past Ruamchitt and went into the big Terminal 21 shopping mall and on the 5th floor was this awesome food court called Pier 21 with lots of cheap but decent food. This is a food court similar to the one near the buses at the Bangkok airport where you load up a payment card and it gets scanned each time you order a dish. I liked this place so much I decided to eat here both my nights. I got free breakfast at Ruamchitt Hotel.
For my first night I simply went downstairs to Thermae. As expected I was directed right away by what I would consider as a rude staff guy to buy a drink. I ordered a pineapple juice for 80 be which was a bit higher than any venue I went to in Pattaya. At about 10 am the place was packed with girls and there were lots of guys walking the circuit to view the girls on both sides. *.
I already knew that at Thermae, the girls were not allowed to make the first move unlike those at Soi 6 in Pattaya. But a few did touch my arm as I walked by and many said Hello, (I'm Asian Canadian by the way). I would say that 80% of the guys there were Asian while the rest were Caucasian and Indian. *.
I settled on one pretty little MILF who wanted 2,500 be and since this was my first night there I agreed. She wasted no time once I started a conversation with her if I wanted to take her. So pretty well straight to business. *.
She submitted her ID with front desk at Ruamchitt and back to my room we went. Once in my room she turned up the AC and turned most of the lights off. She claimed that she was shy and we showered separately. *.
The session was okay but not great nor GFE at all. She allowed me to take a photo of us afterwards though. I did not accompany her back downstairs. *.
For my next day, I had planned to do some touristy things and visit the Grand Palace and what Arun via the tourist river boat but I felt I was coming down with a sinus throat infection a day before so I decided to just spend the day inside resting rather than go out in the 33 see daytime heat. Otherwise I would have visited these attractions and I won't miss them on my next trip to Bangkok*.
When it was almost sunset hours later, I walked to Picasso Massage near the Westin Hotel and Terminal 21. I was greeted by a friendly mamasan who showed me the rates and called out the girls for a five girl lineup. I chose the one I thought I recognized from their website and did the standard room 60 minutes at 2,500 be. *.
The room my girl brought me to was smaller than the photos on the website. I got shower for two, a nice oil back and legs massage followed by FS. She finished me off with an oil HJ at my request when I couldn't finish inside her which happens with me at times. Then she showered me again. Overall I had a decent session. *.
However, my session at Picasso wasn't what I had expected. After the session both the mamasan and my girl showed me one of the bigger rooms with an air mattress where they do body to body massage. This is what I thought I would be getting and what I had come to Picasso for. Then mamasan and I had a nice pleasant chat and it turned out that there was some misunderstanding and I paid for the wrong category of service. Their body to body services all start at 3,000 be for an hour with nuru or oil which I would have paid for. Oh well, I missed out on getting at least one soapy, oily or nuru body to body session on this trip. I did walk into two soapy places while in Pattaya but the girls at the rates I was willing to pay were all fairly chunky in my opinion. *.
Afterward my session at Picasso I walked three minutes to Terminal 21's food court for my final meal in Thailand. I also walked over to check out the Soi Cowboy scene and must report that it is now a mini version of Pattaya Walking Street loaded with lots of general tourists. So although there are girls available there, it just isn't a pure mongering scene like it was years ago. *.
The next morning I had to check out early and walked over to the MRT station near the Westin to go one stop for the airport train as I had a morning flight out. My short stay in Bangkok is certainly a very small sample size but I did do my best to report what I did experience over two nights. I'll be the first on admitting that this is way too short stay. I would have liked to try and out at least two different Thermae girls and at least one body to body massage with FS. I'll plan for a longer stay next time. *.

Posts: 23Sorry to hear that about Billboard. When I visited last year it had really good talent, although you did have to sift through some 6-7's. Rainbow 5 had a decent selection too. I return next week so I'm eager to see how things have developed.

A question about Wood Bar. What was their lineup like? Older MILFS? Or are there some girls there in their 20's. Early 30's?
Good luck on the rest of your trip.

Posts: 49An intuitive understanding of the basics is valuable
If you saw that as "hero" "worship", I feel bad for your heroes and whatever you worship. Given you've opened the door to a mutual exchange of unsolicited advice, let me repay you with my shiny 2 Satang.
Satang 1: if one has no tangible, easy to understand, yet unknown information to add to a conversation, one is better off saying nothing.
Satang 2: why so sour bro?
Satang bonus for free: for people who have access to multiple markets, often unpredictably timed by higher powers beyond our control, a fundamental understanding of the underlying social / cultural best practices is far more valuable than something like "pussy 10 at 69 soi 69 is 20 baht cheaper and attached to a body 100 grams lighter than pussy 20 at 96 soi 96". This is especially true in a rapidly evolving world.

Posts: 102Went to Nana Plaza last night. Jesus, what a dumpy area especially compared to where my hotel is in phrom phong. The bts was packed like sardines at 10 pm. I went through basically every decent lookinggogo / bar in like an hour. From what I've read the minimum price here is like 5000 baht, which is waaaayy too much for the kinda girls being offered here. Nothing above an 8, even in billboard. Outside it was decent for the price at 2 k but I wasn't feeling any of the girls. Walked down to wood bar and got the best BJ of my life. This lady was deep throating me for 20 minutes and sucked the soul out of me. Best experience in Bangkok so far and only 1000 baht. Never orgasmed from a BJ before. Buncha degenerates on that street trying to sell you drugs. I hopped on the last bts back to my hotel and went to sleep exhausted. I'm a country guy so the hustle and bustle of this city is getting to me.

It wasnt about the money, it was having to go to the bathroom after all the drinking between all of the different places. Yes, I thought maybe ladyboy or she was on her period and going to try the BJ only shit. I didn't pay her and she left. The girls outside thermae, you mean the girls coming out of Termae, because the girls on the street towards Nana were not good and like someone else said a lot of dudes trying to sell drugs to you.

They were probably confident they would get pulled. They were 2 of the best girls in there, a lot of younger asian guys walking around, and like EverythingThai said, I did not look the part to pull the hot young girls. I prefer the scatchy parts so try not to dress to nice to attract unwanted attention. Term was not my focus I just wanted to see.

Posts: 2568All valid points. Being seen as a "good heart", khun jai dee, goes a LONG way in helping to achieve success. That's not saying "overpaying", but just being seen as a nice person, no entitled attitude, being respectful, physically safe. Yes, Thais pride themselves in their cleanliness. Telling a girl she's "hom", smells nice, is a real complement. "Min", stinks, is a real INSULT. As others have stated, city wear is fine, doesn't have to be designer, but beach wear... save it for the beach. Myself, beard - no bar - but then, it fits in with my character. Never had a problem with it.

Just the other day, a regular I've known for a long time told me, "Always happy to see you. You make me laugh, AND I can laugh around you. Others, too serious". It's BUSINESS, transactional, without a doubt. But if you've ever worked customer service, there are some you like to see, and others, rather not.
I've said MANY times: you treat her like an orifice, she'll be an orifice. You treat her like a person, she'll be a person.

Posts: 3920Well stated. I for one will certainly emphasize the importance of your first point. Bangkok is not a beach town. But I see dudes walking around in shorts, flip-flops, and wife beaters all the time. Many are unshaven and unkempt. Thai people put a premium on appearance and cleanliness as is stated above. The only time I ever wear shorts in Bangkok is at the gym. I usually take two to three showers a day, change clothes at least twice, ensure that I am well groomed and that includes meticulous manscaping and trimming of armpit hair as well. Also be clean shaven guys. Asian women for the most part do not like beards and mustaches and stubble isn't going to get you anywhere. Save the ragged look for Pattaya.

For my last "first" trip, I went back about 10 years from the last time I had been there.
I skim out the reports about girls more than 6 months old.
You can also use the search functions, and read all the posts ever written as to a subject. For example, I just saw a post about a Russian streetwalker. I immediately did a search to find what I was looking for, then I was able to ask the appropriate question of the poster with a bit of knowledge in my head.
