I'm planning a trip to Medellin in the spring— likely April / May which I understand can be a rainy period. I don't mind a bit of rain, so I think I can tolerate it and ideally it will make things less busy on the tourist side of things.

I plan to stay in El Poblado / Provenza. Everything seems very close and convenient so it probably is splitting hairs going for one or the other.

Ideally a 4 or 5 star Hotel— I love a nice hotel and it's something I'm willing to shell-out for. Europa suites and Haven look promising. The places with Jaccuzzis etc are tempting as I love a soak. How are the tubs received by chicas in your experience? Do the 5 star spots like the Marquee and the Charlie shut down any chica guests?

I've found that my favorite way to hobby is to have a chica back to my hotel room for extended play 1+ hours or TLN.

How would you, personally, go about pulling girls in Medellin for that type of interaction? Would you go straight to the classifieds (photoprepagos, pasionprepagos), the agencies (lacelestina, eroticas, etc), walk over to Lleras park and meet a few, hit the clubs (gustos, glow, etc), or strip clubs? Can I chill out with some beers and a hookah and wait for the park girls to come to me?

I love being able to see the options in front of me and feel like multiple girls are vying for my attention (let's be honest, However the clubs give me the impression of being high-effort but I love a quick negotiation and back to my room.

I'm leery of Tinder / SA / Facebook as my anonymity is a premium, and Tinder seems to have a rep for being unsafe.

I can dig it, brah! I have never been to Manizales. I've been to Pereira, though, and had a decent time.

I went to Manizales in August. The van ticket from Pereira was 17,000 pesos and took a little over 1 hour if I remember correctly. The Indrive from the airport in Pereira to the bus station was 10,000 pesos. Manizales is a beautiful city and had good weather when I was there. It is in the mountains and everything is built on hills. I was told the flights there are limited because it rains a lot, which makes the airport flood and closes it down anyway. Looks like a great place to live if you have a lady or family. Excellent food too.

I know this is a mongering forum but has anybody really found a life partner in Colombia? I mean, going down there to find a potential wife is REALLY slim. Especially since cheating is accepted over there along with the high baby momma ratio but I personally would seek out a wife, a FWB or fuck buddy, but a wife, not so much. The closest that may make me fall in love is a Venezolana though. I've had zero issues with them and they treat me like a king as a black man. I don't dislike Paisas but those Vennies got me though. I've been coming to Medellin for the past 7 years now, post divorce from a really bad and largely sex-less marriage, and getting my kids into college. I eventually started a business here with an office to support my business and clients in the USA, which is going well, so now I have a reason to be here beyond mongering.

I did have the thought that I might eventually meet a proper woman here, that would meet my superficial requirements in looks and age and also be kind, good hearted and reasonably intelligent. I've dated a few women along that vein but for different reasons it hasn't really worked out. Actually, in the 3 cases I can recall, I spent time and money (dinners, Pueblo visits, trip to Guatape, etc) and did not even get laid.

Meanwhile, I've had amazing times with the young semi pros I've met here on Tinder and Bumble, and lived out about every sexual fantasy imaginable. Last night one young Paisa I'm familiar with brought her friend over and I had an awesome time getting tag teamed by them last night and again this morning. Before they left they cleaned up my apartment. I gave them their 'gifts' and sent them on my way.

Interestingly enough, I discovered Medellin from a buddy in Florida who married a girl who used to work there (at the now closed Mansion) over 12-14 years ago. They were both into the swinging lifestyle, no kids, and I think that is key to their happiness too. 30 year age difference (he mid 60's, she mid 30's -- so they must have met when she was 18 and him in his late 40's / early 50's) and after 10 years together they were still like teenagers in love. They both jointly told me all about the Medellin scene (which they still fly back to often to play). So, you can find true love, but I think it has more to do with YOU than HER. I. E. It takes a certain personality to find the right woman and give her a life that is fulfilling in a way that keeps her and him satisfied. In their case was to become active in swinging, nudist, and such lifestyles. His and her 'party' world never ended after marriage.

I won't get into too many details and just get straight to the point. So what started as just me and my girlfriend has now expanded into my girlfriend and some of her friends and her sisters friends and now I'm up to about 9 people and we all need a place to meet for a group session. I'm having a very difficult time finding a place for this encounter to occur. My girlfriends apartment is too small for such a thing to occur so it would need to be elsewhere. Does anyone have any good ideas here? I'm stuck. I don't see a hotel that would allow so many visitors.

I have never had a normal chick from another city that is not a hooker asking me about paying their bills or feeding their family or taking them away from it all. This is apples and bowling balls. Don't sign up for a hooker or someone to use you if that is not what you want.

You have to remember, a lot of men that come to sex tourist locations disproportionately are complete idiots and simps. I have seen women who sleep with 5 guys a week, get wifed up, even if only temporarily, with a loser who's been sending them 100's of dollars a week. And when their relationship collapses, because he finds out that she's still been sleeping with other guys on the side for extra money or has real Colombian boyfriend, the guy finds another prostitute to repeat the same process. Complete idiots, man. Picking a sex tourist destination for a wife is imbecilic behavior.

I do not see picking a sex tourist destination as being a problem to find a wife. The problem comes in who you are choosing to be your wife. If you have to send someone anywhere hundreds of dollars each week, then that should be your clue. In my experience a real girlfriend is not asking you to send her shit.

A couple of years ago in a facebook group for another country, a guy asked how much money should he give his girlfriend every month. Some people rattled of an amount. Very few people said if you have to give her money then she ain't your girlfriend. The guy finally reported back saying that he told the girl he would give her $300/ month. She told him that was not enough. Duh. That was because he was trying to rent a hooker long term instead of finding a chick that would be an actual help mate.

I am not trying to say there is a problem playing sugar daddy to a sugar baby, but don't pull the wool over your own eyes by calling the situation what it is not.

I think to myself, why the hell would I pursue any kind of proper relationship. I'm not giving this lifestyle up! This is why I got divorced! I think the romantic side in many of us may wonder if we could be truly happy in a committed, monogamous relationship.
