You have posted this before, several of us have read it, all of it, and we have yet to see the part that says the act of exchanging sex for money between or among consenting adults is illegal. And you have yet to highlight or quote the specific passage that states the act of exchanging sex for money between or among consenting adults is illegal. We're not talking about this idea of publicly and openly soliciting it, forcing someone into doing it or procuring someone to do it for somene else. Or anyone other than consenting adults.

We're talking about consenting adults discretely discussing it, deciding to do it and going to a private room to do it.

That specific "Act of Prostitution" is simply not addressed in your list. Yet, it would be blissfully simple to find and post the words that say so.

Here is another place where those clear and simple words are never stated. You'll want to check out every section and word in Title IX:

The same as in the list you posted, I have carefully read Title IX several times by now and the statement I am looking for is simply not there.

In fact, the entirety of The Prevention and Suppression of Prostitution Act, The Penal Code Amendment Act and The Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act as shown in your list would scarcely be needed if elsewhere in your list, the Thai Penal Code or in the Criminal Law of Thailand link it simply said "Exchanging Sex For Money Is Illegal In Thailand. " But it doesn't.

There would then be no need to clarify or parse words about "public places and brothels. " Why no mention of hotel rooms, apartments, condos and houses? How about using the word "anywhere"?

The bit about anyone "subsisting on the earnings of a prostitute" or anything about "the recruitment, transfer, and exploitation of individuals for the purpose of forced prostitution" are addendum to the idea that have been in The Thai Penal Code for years. But none of that makes an otherwise unmentioned act of prostitution between or among consenting adults more illegal.

This is exactly the point. Nothing in this act says prostitution is illegal. It says engaging in prostitution PUBLICLY is illegal. Hence why gathering spots get swept every now and then. You are completely free to pay for sexual services and sell them. Facilitating and profiting from someone else's prostitution it is illegal as I said, hence brothels aren't allowed to exist and bars use loopholes.

All the other citations you linked in fact prove and reinforce this point. Not sure why you are including citations that are clearly meant at the AGE being the factor rather than the prostitution.

Well yes, you are wrong and your reading comprehension is severely lacking. So try to read some more and you'll understand better that prostition is not illegal at all. I have lived here for 15 years so I will help you guys to understand. Chinese new year is on the official Thailand holiday calendar. However, it is not a government holiday and businesses can choose to provide it or not. They are obligated to provide 13 public holidays per year. Some business owners will give this off for their staff. Especially if the owner of the Comapny is of Chinese descent. Thais love to celebrate Chinese new year in a similar fashion as they celebrate Christmas. It's just an excuse to party for them. Chinese Thais will celebrate it a little more conventionally, but more often than not, it's not treated as a big holiday like it is in China and Hong Kong.

Top it off with string of fire works. Through our neighborhood along with abundant of New Year T-shirts design of choice.

You can go right now to Big see Xtra supermarket upstairs clothing department and it isn't even Christmas yet for sale.

Just found out from an OF lady who is based out of Pattaya that one of her friends was arrested for producing porn. Seems that making porn films is illegal in Thailand. My associate has been in a few films with her and is needles to say running a little scared. Apparently OF is also illegal there in Thailand, go figure

Thai internet bans porn sites (as do many other Asian countries), so why would porn be legal to produce? Even in South Korea producing porn is illegal, and they actually have 100% legal red light districts and prostitution there. Japan is one of the few Asian countries where you can legally produce porn.
