I used an outcall service in Sapporo, THC, and picked a girl named Hotaru. Rockit couldn't stop praising her, but reality was a bit different. I was in Sapporo for 6 days and had a great time besides enjoying the local beer gardens I found a good Soapland. I visited Happiness Sapporo and true to the ads it is foreigner friendly. It's located with almost all the soaplands in Sapporo in the Susukino entertainment district. There a several soaplands that advertise as foriegner friendly but reasearch of reviews showed many of these other places left their foreign visitors with bad experiences. Happiness overall had consistently good reviews. Not having visited this place before I opted to go in person and talk to them instead of using Line as that is what 5 pm recommend for first timers who are not fluent in Japanese.

I went in the afternoon as my evening was booked with plans. I easily found the place with Google maps. I was welcomed by a male staffer who spoke pretty good English. He showed me picts of available girls, 5 in total at that time. FYI they often have more girls available then on there site, which they showed me in person or would let you know if you contact them by Line. The staffer offered 60,75 and 90 minute options. 60 seemed short and basic and I was not sure mat play was included. I opted for 75 which had mat soapy fun, mat play Nuru and of course sex. I did 90 minutes my second visit it adds in sex on a bed once the other fun stuff happens. The cost breakdown is 60 minutes $30 k, 75 38 k, 90 46 k all yen. There is a 3000 yen nomination fee but also beware first time visitors are charged a 4000 yen few and you can't pick your girl. I told the staffer I wanted to see Satomi or no go. He relented and let me pick her and charged me the nomination fee. So in total my cost was 45 k yen for 75 minutes.

I was showed to a waiting room where two other Asian dudes were waiting. After about 5 minutes I was showed a slide of the rules not to break or you would be ejected. Things that made sense to me. I was then given my ticket card to show I had seen Satomi so not charged the first time fee again. The gave name an order slip to give to Satomi. I took of my shoes tienen slippers and show a hallway where I was met by Satomi. Wow, she was much cuter than I expected. She is mid20's really cute face and a slim body about 5'3" with a very nice round ass. She did not have much in the titty department with A to be cups but no big deal for me as her looks, slimness, personality and ass where great. She did not speak much English so fully practiced my basic Japanese with her.

I won't go into much detail on service, especially if you have been to a Soaplands before it was typical. I can no longer tell why a shop let me in since I use every tactic such as getting a referral from Manzoku or using a card some girl gave me to show I'm a returning customer.

Not for everyone, but I have found that if you show up with a Japanese friend they will be more likely to let you in. Especially if your friend says something like "he knows how it works, I explained everything. " Especially worked for me at some kyabakura and oppai pubs.

My first shops ever were all the oppai pubs of Nagoya, every single one. I knew 3 months of Japanese, which is basically nothing. Things like "Hi", "I like Japan", "I am from America", and "Boobs please". This was 20 years ago and for most girls, I was the first foreigner customer ever. Or some veteran girls would be like "I had a foreigner customer 3 months ago". Like a conquistador I broke new ground there. But I will say I went at 7 pm when things were slow. Had I showed up 10 pm when the clubs were full, they would have refused me. Especially if they can only let 1 more guy in they will choose a local over an unknown like me. But like I said, every single oppai pub of Nagoya let me in. I later tried in Tokyo and only 10% of shops including oppai pubs would let me in. But, 10% of 50 shops in Kabukicho is still like 5 shops. That's all I need. BTW never ever talk to the black / nigerian touts, or any non-Japanese tout (Chinese, Korean, white) for that matter in Shinjuku. Never had that problem in Nagoya or other cities.

I have heard the three problems they want to deal with are: 1) Customers that can't follow rules including bothering girls, staff, other customers. 2) Customers that run away without paying (whether Japanese or not). 3) Customers wiling to follow rules and pay, but cannot communicate the bare minimum with girls or staff.

Some of that is just a matter of staff training. For example at Kira Kira soapland in Yokohama, staff don't speak a word of English but have been foreigner friendly for years even before Covid. My first time they simply wanted to first know what country I was from. I'm from the US, so they gave me an English form of the rules. They also had Chinese and Korean. No problem at all.

My one time getting a massage in Sapporo was through in incall service to my hotel, but this was back in January 2015 or so. If you're still in Sapporo, you could google "sapporo massage parlor" there are a bunch of places on the map in Susukino, some of them are open late so good we worth a try. But open late doesn't mean they aren't legit. You could also try using one of the adult information booths in Susukino, they could direct you to a good place if one exisits.

Had my first experience of Japanese soapland at Happiness in Sapporo after reading the reviews here. Boy what an experience! I have been to soapies in Thailand, but this one trumps Thai ones by a mile. Japanese girls really know how to serve. Tried this soapland during my first night. Only 1 girl was offered, as I am a white guy with very limited Japanese. Not good. Maybe delivery health is to be avoided in Sapporo. Rates at this place were a bit high starting at 24 k for 55 minutes. But they hold themselves out as an agency specializing in teens to mid 20 delivery health girls. Joshidasei means college girl in English after all. Anyways, I figured since they are charging a premium the girls would be young and hot. I picked Kira off their website.

Unfortunately that 24 k price quickly increased to 33 k since there are so many little fees built in. 24 k base for 55 minutes but they charge an additional 2 k if you want to pick the girl. 2 k additional fee if the service is after 9 pm. 1 k transportation fee. Also, if you pick the girl then you have to buy at least 65 minutes for 28 k.

Worse than all the upcharge bullshit is that the girl wasn't hot or young. Probably early 30's and overweight. FS was not offered and I wasn't willing to tip her anything extra for it. Was bad enough I already dropped 33 k on her. In fact I didn't even want to play with her at all. It was that bad. I complained to the agency, cancelled and got a partial refund. Sapporo is an untapped gem. There must be 100 soaplands in Susukino. While I did not explore them all, I did hit a home run on the first girl I picked and I have to say it was probably my best pay for play experience to date. He told me that they do, and showed me 3 girls available to foreigners and told me the price was 30,000 for 60 minutes. All the girls had listed ages in their late 20's and I mentioned to him that I was looking for someone a bit younger if possible. He showed me a profile of Miia who had a listed age of 22 and I chose her. Actual age unknown but I would say mid 20's most likely. I paid the 30,000 fee and 2,000 additional nomination fee which I believe even the locals pay for picking a girl as opposed to taking whoever they give you. If I remember correctly this soapland charged 25,000 for 60 minutes to locals. So only a 5,000 up charge for foreigners.

Happiness is the best soapland in the area for foreigners. The gaijin tax is much lower compared to the other soapies in the area.

I have been to a variety of soapies in Thailand from small to the mega / luxury complex ones. Not sure if the experience in Japan would be better and how much different.

So having done both I think Thailand soapies might be slightly better for foreigners. The big difference in my experience has just been the mat play. Many of the Japanese soaps will have an air mat and provide real nuru service where the girl body slides you with nuru gel. Most of the spots I visited in Thailand were more just imitation nuru, as they didn't have the air mat and didn't use the gel. I will say though, Dozo massage in Bangkok gave me an experience which was pretty much identical to the service you will receive at a Japanese soapland. Obviously the other big difference is the girls, Thai girl doing the massage vs Japanese girl. Personally I find the Japanese women to be far more beautiful, albeit more reserved and occasionally less friendly than their Thai counterparts.
